Absolutely amazing!! - We were a group of 8 college friends in our seventies and Michael made it exactly how we needed it to be for our group. Just the right amount of walking and sightseeing. We even included lunch. Michael is extremely knowledgeable! I learned more about San Antonio with Michael than I ever knew after living here for over 20 years. I would highly recommend booking a tour with him! In fact after telling my husband about the tour, he wants me to schedule a tour for the two of us!!

A Tour Not to be Missed - This was an amazing tour! Michael is a guide who is not only personable, but very knowledgeable. He takes the time to get to know each tour participant and makes the tour catered to his or her interests. We saw so much on this half day tour! All the missions, the Japanese Gardens, the King William District, and the Mercado where Michael assisted us in finding new sandals for our daughter who experienced a sandal malfunction while on the tour! We ended up at the Pearl. This is an area of shops and restaurants, centered around the Hotel Emma. It has a very interesting history which Michael will tell you all about. Make sure he tells you the story about the Three Emmas and then be sure to enjoy the drink by the same name. We opted to stay at the Pearl for dinner and Uber back to our hotel. Michael gave us excellent suggestions of where to eat and other things for us to see during our stay in San Antonio. This is the best tour of San Antonio. Michael made our day special and informative. A tour we will never forget!

Must-Do Tour While in San Antonio! - What an absolutely wonderful tour! My husband and I were lucky enough to spend a morning with Michael. He was knowledgeable, friendly, engaging and tailored the tour to our interests. We really packed a lot into our time visiting 4 missions, the Pearl/King William’s historic districts,(including the Pearl Brewery, Market Square, the Alamo, Japanese Tea Gardens, and more. We even got a little bird watching and native plant identification in! This is a totally different, immersive experience than you would have exploring on your own as we got to see, hear, and even taste the culture and history of the area. Truly a unique perspective and worth every cent! One of the best tours we have been on, highly recommend it!

Fun Half Day in San Antonio - Really can’t say enough good things about this tour. We saw most of the key sites in San Antonio in a 3-4 hour period to include the Missions, tea garden and The Pearl/Hotel Emma. Michael was engaging, knowledgeable and fun. We will definitely come back to San Antonio in the future and will be sure to book with Michael when we do.

Fantastic tour - In three words: energetic, knowledgeable, and fun. I'm actually not much of a social person, but Michael was able to engage with me in such a good way, and quickly too, that I am immensely impressed. His knowledge of the subject matter was very complete and encompassing. And his ability to adapt ( the conversation, the tour, and alternating between my wife and I) was a good benchmark for how we will judge tours in the future. The man is a master of engagement, able to handle a wide variety of conversational topics, and keep you otherwise entertained. He could teach a Masterclass to other guides to greatly improve the industry overall. Definitely a recommendation to take this Missions Tour, and we will be taking other future tours as we visit San Antonio again as well.

Best tour guide ever! - Michael’s tour was phenomenal. Without his knowledge of the missions I wouldn’t have understood the Alamo - or have seen some amazing sights! Just book the tour-great guy, funny and knowledgeable!

Excellent Tour of Romantic San Antonio - Excellent tour of romantic San Antonio's history! Michael is an energetic and engaging commentator with a fine grasp of cultural and political history. He also has connections with the people working at each site, so we received preferential treatment. Michael is open to modifying the tour to fit our interests. A totally delightful experience!

The best way to see San Antonio - The best tour of San Antonio. You will not be disappointed. We did a 3 hour tour and my only complaint I wish it was longer. The hotel Emma promised we would enjoy it and the tour was above and beyond. Michael is a fantastic guide and very personable my 14 year old said that didn’t even feel like a tour. If you are going to San Antonio this is a must!
