Low country, good energy! - I loved my experience at this cooking class! Martha made me feel instantly comfortable, and her charming demeanor and positive energy set the tone for our awesome class. She really knows everything about Charleston and low country/southern cuisine, her breadth of knowledge is impressive, and her anecdotes are entertaining and informative. The dishes were delicious, and fun and easy to make. 10/10 would recommend!

Learned a lot with Martha! - We had so much fun with our cooking class! It was just three of us with our hostess, Martha. She was really friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot (and ate a lot)! We made Huguenot Torte, jalapeño pimento cheese, and buttermilk biscuit. We asked questions, made the food, and enjoyed the fellowship.

Love to cook? Take this class! - Wow! What a great experience…Martha was a wonderful instructor…we were part of a group of five people. First Martha explained about the recipe, told some history behind the dish and then it was hands on for our group. The food was delicious and more than enough for the five of us to share. In fact Martha sent home the leftovers. Would we take the class again? Yes, we learned a lot from Martha and it was a great afternoon!

Fun class and yummy food - My two friends and I were celebrating a big birthday in Charleston. I love to take a cooking class when I travel and this one was top-notch. Our teacher, Martha, was so knowledgeable about the history of the low-country food we were making. She made the class fun and easy and all of the women that were there talked easily and had a great time. The food tasted amazing! I highly recommend this class.

Good enough activity. - It was good enough. Recipes just okay and simple. Too many people; less hands on a as result. But it was an okay thing to do at 10 am , be done at noon. Cute set up, not a true cooking environment like others I have been to in other cities.
