The historic Bruckmann Brewery complex in Cincinnati stands as one of the most intact 19th-century brewery sites in the United States. Brewing operations commenced here in 1856 and continued for almost a century. Remarkably, most of the brewery’s key structures remain, including the brewhouse, malthouse, bottling building, stables, family residence, power plant, and the underground lagering cellars. After brewing ceased in 1950, the site was adapted for various businesses, such as the Fountain Winery in the 1980s and the headquarters and production facility for Worthmore Food Products Company, known for their Cincinnati-style chili and mock turtle soup.
