Upon booking this service, expert guide Luke Hayduk will contact you to organize a personalized hiking adventure!
Initially, a 30-60 minute virtual meeting will be arranged to discuss your perfect day on the trail and any hiking limitations. During this session, a custom digital topographical trail map will be reviewed, and important winter hiking logistics will be discussed, such as basic avalanche awareness, staying warm during the hike, handling icy trails, and planning for shorter daylight hours.
You will also learn about the available rental equipment, including snowshoes and micro spikes, and the appropriate times to use them. Additionally, a recommended clothing list will be provided.
Rental pickup and drop-off can be coordinated with a guide or at the Little Smith Creek Ranch in Victor, MT. Upon arrival, proceed through the large wooden arch and find the small green office on the left. Pickup and drop-off times will be scheduled between 8 - 11 am.
