Great fun, awesome puzzles! - Wow! What a great themed, split room with loads of puzzles! Our family has done multiple escape experiences, and this is by far the best! Teamwork & communication is a must.

Had Some Time to Burn - We had some time to kill when we landed so we booked the 2hour escape experience. We love escape rooms and had never done a 2 hour one so we were pretty excited. The room decor was good. The GM we had was nice and courteous. The establishment was clean and welcoming. The game, however, fell a little flat. Your group is split up (not a spoiler - says this on the website). You can still communicate and work together. However, our side found us waiting a lot for the other side to do something that would help us. so we were standing around a lot it felt like. Their side was slightly darker and their light source wasn't working properly. The puzzles were okay...some were clever, others were tough - which is okay because it is a 9 out of 10 difficulty so that's expected. We asked for clues and there were numerous times a message came on the screen saying the host will be with you shortly. Which I am unsure if the GM runs multiple experiences at a time or what was going on. We waited quite a while for a couple clues (around 3 or 4 minutes - which may not seem like a lot but when you're racing against the clock it was!). When in the area, I would give them another chance but for the high cost of the 2 hour experience, it was disappointing. *note - it was freezing in the rooms so bring a sweater or jacket

Mediocre medieval mishaps - We were a group of seasoned escape room players with 50-150 rooms played by all 5 in our group. We played “A Knight To Escape” Pros: Beautiful set design. It looks and feels very well built Cons: Truly terrible puzzle flow. Most puzzles don’t fully make sense, even after you have solved them. Staff was mediocre at best. I expect this from a hole in the wall business charging $25 but at $70 per person, I want more than mediocre interaction with staff that doesn’t seem to want us there. Lack of game game master. As has been mentioned by other reviews (which I only read after playing 😢) the game masters don’t actually watch your game. They only peek in when you hit a button to request a hint. This means you can spend a lot of time doing the wrong thing and no one will tell you. This happened when we accidentally solved a puzzle and then tried using the extremely vague puzzle pieces that didn’t really tie in for an extra 20 minutes, only to ask for a hint and be told that we wouldn’t need those anymore. A good game master would have caught that and helped us out. Lack of puzzles. There are only 7 or maybe 9 puzzles total (depending on what you count as a puzzle) for this two hour experience. Most of your 2 hours is spent trying endless possibilities of configurations since the puzzles and vague and not intuitive. This could easily be a 60 minute game if the puzzles weren’t so poorly designed. Some very simple modifications would take out so much confusion. Lots of bored standing around. There really isn’t much to do. Most of the game is split into two teams. One team twiddles their thumbs while the other team solves a puzzle. Once solved they pass whatever they received to the other team and wait 15 minutes while that group solves a puzzle. This repeats for 2 hours. Overall, I would strongly recommend visiting some of the other amazing companies in Orlando like Doldricks, The Escape Game or Venture Brothers, but I would avoid “A Knight To Escape”, unless you have $70 per person to waste and like your group to be annoyed afterwards.
