- Tokyo Disneyland - Visit the first Disneyland established outside the United States! While many of the attractions at Tokyo Disneyland share names and general designs with those in the U.S., there are also exclusive rides unique to this park. The latest highlight is the new Beauty and the Beast ride! Food is a significant part of the Tokyo Disney experience, and you won’t be disappointed at Tokyo Disneyland. They offer classics like the Blue Bayou, but most of the cuisine is unique to Japan, featuring dishes from Tonkatsu to Ramen, along with an array of adorable snacks!
That said, Tokyo Disneyland is, in my opinion, the secondary park. If you have only one day to explore Tokyo Disney, it’s best to choose DisneySea! There are many more unique attractions, sights, and foods to enjoy there.

Tokyo DisneySea truly challenged the Imagineers’ creativity and cohesiveness. Without giving too much away, there’s a particular ride that other parks have struggled to maintain, but it still operates at Tokyo DisneySea! There’s so much detail I could rave about, but trust me, Tokyo DisneySea is more captivating.
Tokyo DisneySea offers a lot, but keep in mind it’s primarily for adults. Compared to Tokyo Disneyland, there are fewer rides suitable for children. That’s my way of saying they serve unique signature cocktails at most food carts! If you enjoy a drink, you’ll love Tokyo Disney.
