K’GARI 2-DAY TOUR - From 1st June 2021, this new tour represents the BEST VALUE experience on Fraser Island in 2021! Focused on increased guest comfort, tours include small group experiences (maximum 30 guests) and upgraded accommodation to Standard Hotel Rooms at K’gari Beach Resort. PLUS uncover hidden gems such as Hammertone Sandblow, Lake Wabby and the Champagne Pools.
- This tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair
- Please bring zinc sunscreen, hat and swimwear
- Audio guides and scripts are available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Chinese via the K’gari Explorer Tours App.
- Your accommodation will require a credit card pre-authorisation of AU$100 per day plus AU$200 refundable bond to a maximum of AU$500. In the event that no credit card is available, full payment and a bond deposit of AU$100 per day to a maximum of AU$500 is required.
- Recommended for guests to bring their own front-facing infant seats. Limited child seats are available at an additional charge on request.
- Please note we do not carry children under the age of 1 and no refund will be given.
- Please note that Queensland law requires all guests travelling on our coaches to wear seat belts at all times, failure to do so could result in a Queensland Government fine.
- This tour has separate departure locations depending on whether you are staying in Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach. Please make sure you book the correct departure location. If you are staying in Hervey Bay, select pick up from Buccaneer Drive. If you are staying in Rainbow Beach, select pick up from Rainbow Beach Road.
- The commencement of hotel pickups is approximately 2 hours prior to the departure time of the tour, you must make telephone contact with the local service provider to book the pickup and verify the exactness of your pickup time, this must be done at least 48hrs prior to the departure.

Incredible experiences and wonderful guide - Just came back from K’gari doing the 2-day-tour… It was absolutely mind-blowing, and mostly thanks to our incredible guide Dave D. Dave is so knowledgeable about the wildlife, the vegetation and the History of the island! I appreciated his generosity, as well as the respect he has towards nature and animals. He is passionate and was in awe with everything we’ve seen just like us, like he’s discovering everything all over again. It made everything special!
We were also lucky enough to be a some spots first, which was even more pleasant, and K’gari Beach Resort was perfect, from the meals we had there to the room for the overnight stay.
I will recommend it to everyone I know, and I would be more than happy to do it again by bringing my partner next time!

Thanks to Kurt for an excellent K’gari Tour - Amazing tour of K’gari. Shout out to Kurt who was an awesome guide over the two days. He was knowledgable, enthuasiatic and brought awesome energy to the trip. We were blown away with K’gari and the two day trip was perfect for my fiance and I as we are touring the east coast of Australia. The first day was great even with some rain which we were unlucky to have but Kurt kept enthusiasm high and we all had a great time with lake Mackenzie, central junction etc. Day two was epic with fantastic weather. Champagne pools, west side of the island and the famous ship wreck SS Maheno were amazing spots plus many more. Highly recommend this trip.

K'Gari is truly a paradise to experience - Thank you very much to Kurt for two magical days at Kgari. It never became boring and when the ferry took us back to the mainland we were quite exhausted by all the impressions and experiences we had gained during these days. Highly recommended!

K’gari or Fraser it is a true treasure! - K’Gari is truly a world treasure. The itinerary was very well thought out. Our guide David was informative, a lot of fun and one helluva driver! We had a nice clean room and enjoyed the food.

Fraser island: a must see in Australia under the guidance of Jean. - We did a fantastic 2 day tour under the very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guidance of Jean. He took us safely to the many beautiful places of the island. He knew all the ste tell about the flauwe and fauna of the island.

Perfect - The tour was amazing. Andy, our guide, had real nice stories about the history of the island and lot of knowledge about its nature. During thedrive on the beach, we saw dingos, whales and of course the beautiful sea. The trip on the plane was every penny worth. To see the eain forest, sea including whales from the sky is unforgettable. In short, the 2 days were overwhelming

Perfect 😍 - Fantastic trip accompanied by Andy someone who can passionately tell about the island. Andy takes his time and can tell a lot about the flora and fauna. On this trip several dingoes seen whales and trees over 1000 years old. Really worth it. 👍

Amazing trip - What a great experience that we will never forget! From the get go Keith our tour guide made us feel so welcome and the overall experience was phenomenal. He was so knowledgeable and ensured that everybody was taken care of. He really went above and beyond to get to know all of the passengers on the bus. He had a fantastic sense of humour and had us enjoying the experience and laughing all day long. Keith made sure that our luggage was looked after and had great stories to share. Thank you for a very positive experience.
