Whale Watching - Fantastic afternoon watching thes incredible animals! Great boat and great staff. Also the boat was far from crowded. We got to see lots of adolecent whales, but hoped there would have been more. About two weeks to early for more whales, but loved what we saw. Information was great, but didn't overload us. Was happy, and informative to answer any questions we had.

Whale watching in Hervey Bay - Fabulous afternoon whale watching. A very comfortable boat and great commentary and crew. A few light showers didn’t spoil the trip at all. So glad we went.

Fantastic Experience - We had a half day trip in August, and we were really lucky to have great weather. Calm conditions and warm weather, but a windproof jacket wad really welcome. We saw several different groups of whales and what was surprising to me was how they approached the ship and we did not chase them. The final group we saw was the best, with the largest whales just seeming to play next to the ship. When we headed back we appreciated the part of the advertising that promoted that this was a fast ship. If it wasn't, we might not have seen that last group. I have seen many places in the world, including Antarctica and Africa, and this was right up there with the best. Huge wild animals in their natural environment.

Morning whale tour out of Hervey Bay - Plenty of room on the boat , plenty of spots to take photos, The Whales actually came up to the boat ,and we had plenty of photo opportunities, The crew were friendly and made sure that if they saw a whale they moved that way so we could get photos , Nice trip home following Fraser Island beach.

This is a must do at least once in your life experience. - Wonderful experience. This should be on everyone's bucket list to check off. Could not recommend more highly. Great staff with a genuine passion in their role in promoting whale watching. Would go again without hesitation.

Highly recommend - Second time with Spirit of Hervey Bay and didn't disappoint, loved every minute. Seeing the whales in their natural habitat never ceases to take your breath away. Highly recommend.

A whale watching experience not to be missed. Spirit of Hervey Bay. - I cannot recommend this cruising experience highly enough. From the first phone call to book the cruise, to leaving this cruise, everything was top notch. The boat was very comfortable, clean and perfect for whale watching. The knowledge of the skipper and the information sharing was spot on. The whale watching experience was off the scale. Whales for all to see. The whales were as intrigued by us as we were by them. They came right up to the boat and performed their magic for all to see. An absolute sight to behold. The return to the Harbour via a leisurely cruise by K'gari Island with the sunset dancing on the coloured sands of the island capped the day off majestically.

Great day on the bay. - Fantastic day, we have been whale watching before in Hervey Bay and we saw more whales this time than previously. Due to the timing of our visit many of the whales were juvenile and possibly less active than later in the season when the whales return to Antartica. The trip was certainly good value for the money, the boat was spotless and the crew very good.

Must do in Hervey Bay - The tour was well run and the staff were always helpful and friendly. We left on time after a smooth and well organised boarding procedure. The commentary was always informative and entertaining. We enjoyed learning more about the lives of the humpback whales. There were lots of close encounters with the whales coming right up to the boat. Being on this larger boat meant we never felt crowded and always had a good view. Highly recommended!!
