Guachipelin did not dissapoint!!! - This was the one tour our entire family was looking forward to. It was delivered in one unforgettable day with ziplining, river tubing, horseback riding, mud baths, and hot springs!
We were picked up from the JW Marriott in Playa Avellanas, and the transportation was smooth and easy. The 2.5-hour ride included a bathroom and snack stop and a few pickups. Once we arrived at the adventure park, check-in and waivers were a breeze — the team had everything organized and ready to go.
The first one was ziplining, and wow, talk about efficiency! It felt like a well-oiled machine. Despite the number of people, the staff kept everything moving with safety and fun in mind. We flew through nine exhilarating zip lines, and the guides were incredible, ensuring everyone was comfortable and secure.
Next was the river tubing, which was just as fun — if not more! It’s a Class II river, so it's not too intense but just enough action to keep everyone engaged. A few of us got scratched or stuck briefly, but the staff was attentive and helped everyone navigate the rapids safely. The scenery along the river was beautiful, and the laughter was nonstop.
Then came horseback riding, which not everyone in our group did, but those who did loved it. The horses were well-trained, and the ride was relaxing with scenic views.
Our final activity took us across hanging bridges before arriving at the hot springs, where we got to enjoy a mud bath and a soak in the natural thermal waters — a perfect, peaceful way to unwind after a day full of action.
We wrapped up the day with a solid lunch included in the tour. It wasn’t fancy, but it tasted good and was satisfying after so much activity.
The only downside to an otherwise fantastic experience: we paid $180 for the photo package but unfortunately received the wrong photos. We’re still waiting to receive the correct ones; if that isn’t resolved, we’ll request a refund. If they correct this, we’ll happily keep our 5-star rating — but if not, it’s a ding on an otherwise excellent tour.
All in all, this was an incredible all-day adventure we’ll never forget. Highly recommend it for families looking for variety, excitement, and natural beauty in one place!

Unforgettable Adventure with Amazing Views and Hospitality! - The place and the people are great. The activities were well organized and super fun. The ziplines were wonderful—exciting, safe, and offered amazing views inside the canyon. The lunch was amazing. 1000% recommended! One more thing—they have local coffee available for free.

Loved everything about it! - I came with my family if 4. We have two kids, 18 & 16. It was a Blast! The guides were amazing, we had Kevin, Jody and Julien, who were friendly, fun and kept us safe. Calling the activities ran so smoothly with little waiting. We highly recommend this tour! We did add the canyoning, which was also amazing!

Fantastic Ziplining and Tubing - Excellent set of activities. Tubing was our favorite—by far. Our only complaint—large groups. Like 50+ people going ziplining. It made the workers go really fast. And same with the hot springs. Too many people.
Overall, great variety and enjoyable.

Amazing staff especially Jason at the river tubing! - If you're a fan of tubing, this is definitely the place to visit! I went tubing with my family, and I was initially very nervous about the experience. I almost decided not to get on the tube, but thankfully, Jason, one of the guides, made all the difference. He connected his tube to mine, guiding me safely down the river and making sure I felt comfortable the whole time. His care and attention to safety were evident, and he truly made the experience enjoyable. He also ensured I reconnected with my family at the end of the ride. Jason was not only incredibly professional but also kind and approachable. The entire staff was equally helpful, skilled, and dedicated to making sure everyone had a great time.

An Action-Packed Day of Adventure and Relaxation! - One of the best experiences of my lifetime! The day was packed with activities, and each one was unforgettable. We started with horse riding, which was such a relaxing and peaceful way to tour through nature. It was a great way to ease into the adventure.
Next was river tubing, and it quickly became my favorite part of the day! My adrenaline was pumping the entire time, and the staff was there to help if anyone got stuck. The safety measures were excellent, which made it even more enjoyable.
Lunch was delicious and gave us the energy we needed for zip lining. The zip lines were such a thrill and definitely adrenaline-inducing! The staff was always there to assist, making it feel safe and fun.
We ended the day with a mud bath and a soak in the warm water, which was the perfect way to relax and unwind after all the excitement.
Overall, it was an incredible experience. In just one day, you can do so much, and the staff are absolute professionals who know exactly what they’re doing (plus, they’re really funny too!).
If you’re into adventure, I highly recommend this!

A death defying day! - Let me start off by saying we had an amazing time! The staff were great and we enjoyed everything.
But, these rapids…. We were a group of 4 fit people from Colorado. When they told us that the rapids were class 3 and 4 they weren’t wrong. Water was high that day indeed. But we carried on, looking around our group we had a group of young to old, fit to not. I figured we’d be just fine.
The water was freezing, you’re in an inner tube with limited ability to maneuver. No paddle. These rapids are more suited for an intermediate on a kayak. Absolutely insane that they are sending people down these in tubes. The website says children of age 8+ but I would strongly advise no children ever.
We came out without major injuries but we did have the paramedics arrive for other people in the group. One guy dislocated his shoulder, another slammed his face against a rock when he flipped out, a few people were stuck in the toe of the rapids and almost drown. Including a college swimmer in our group. Gashes on face, feet and lower body plagued our group. The guides were doing the best, which was incredibly hard work, and they did a great job, to rescue and manage the carnage that happened that day.
But… it was beautiful on that river. As I tried to stop shaking uncontrollably from the cold water, I was able to enjoy the scenes in one of the 3-4 very short chill pools that followed after I feared for my life.
After the adrenaline wore off, we had a great lunch followed by amazing zip lining and relaxed in a beautiful hotspring.
Crazy day, I would recommend the rapids for those who are very fit and have water experience. It is not a chill ride, you will likely come out with a renewed taste for life, bruises and a gash or two. If you choose to do the rapids, I would recommend a long sleeve shirt or swim suit to help avoid chafing as you grip those strings on the intertube and also provide a little more warmth. Godspeed friends.

Horseback riding to the waterfall - Ridden with a Spanish guide in the jungle of Rincon Parc horse. The horses know the way, unfortunately the guide does not explain anything along the way.
Nice to swim at the waterfall (very cold water). You don't have to bring towels, you get them from the guide.

Not what we were expecting. - Okay, we did end up having a good time but their marketing is all highly misleading. We did the half day adventure package with zip lining, rappel, rock climbing, lunch, hot springs.
We got there, everything went well, staff was nice and helpful and got us started zip lining. 40 minutes later, literally exactly 40 minutes later and you are done! 4 1/2 hour half day event???? The zip lining was great, one of the better ones I've done but the rappel and rock climbing? It's ONE rappel for 3 seconds, then one 15' wall you climb back up and then that's it! Not another one on the trip!
Then they all walked away........all the staff just went on to do other tours. We asked around where the lunch was and a lady said "down that road". You walk about 10 minutes and there is a big outdoor food area. It was a nice meal but there is 30 more minutes of our "adventure tour"
We then walked around wondering what the hell do we do now??? We asked somebody where the hot springs were and they said "up that road". We walked for 20 minutes and saw nothing. We then got back to our car and drove around looking for these hot springs. They are 6km away, maybe a 20 minute drive! What the......?????. We finally found the hot springs and they were awesome, probably the highlight of the trip because you could just stay there and relax but no direction at all, especially not a "tour"
In all I would never do it again, you got 40 minutes of "adventure" and then an hour of wondering around, and then an hour of sitting in 100 deg water when it's 90 deg outside ;)
