A necessary experience for any Brazilian - This was one of the highlights of my visit to Alagoas. To be able to visit the place where one day was the largest Brazilian quilombo and receive a class of history, society, citizenship has no price! It was fantastic, a necessary social experience! Emotion, reflection, vivid history and lots of energy from freedom and diversity at Quilombo dos Palmares ❤️

Real facts of our history - There is no restaurant inside the Quilombo but it has good infrastructure. Not to mention that it is a big piece of Brazil’s history. The view is stunning and the road is good.

Assessment - The guide Alessandra is very prepared, tells the entire history of the quilombo, sees herself in this place, gets emotional and helps spread the untold real story. Congratulations!
