Best tour guide ever, best day of trip - Amina was an amazing tour guide! She was knowledgeable, friendly, sensitive to our needs and wants, and so much fun. She planned the perfect day for us and made us feel so welcome in Zanzibar. She seemed to be having as much fun as we were! We couldn't imagine a better ambassador for Zanzibar's tourism. It was the most special day of our trip. Jigo Boy our driver was also amazing, safe, fun, and always there when we needed him. Great team! The boat ride with dolphins gave us the full beach/ocean experience and we snorkeled with the fish: so calming! The red monkeys were the best part of the day and we got so close to them. They weren't shy at all! The caves were really special too. We ended the day with a cocktail at The Rock (make sure to make a reservation!)

Ultimate 1-day Zanzibar tour - This tour starts off with bottlenose dolphin spotting which was surreal. Thereafter a snorkeling session near the reef which had plenty of underwater flora & fauna.
Next up was a trek thru Jozani forest and we spotted blue-faced monkeys that are indigenous to the region. I recommend carrying a pair of trek shoes as the terrain is damp and muddy.
Next was Kuza caves which was breathtaking. Recommend wearing footwear with decent grip as the rocks leading to the cave are slippery.
We then made a trip to the Rock restaurant at Pingwe beach where we had our lunch.
The restaurant can be walked to depending on the time of day, later afternoon will reauire a boat ride to access the restaurant [which is free of cost].
Tour ended with a trip to Paje beach.
Highly recommend this tour purely because there’s a variety of activities and terrains to explore.

Solo and Wonderful!!!! - Going alone and feeling totally safe on these excursions, that’s exactly what Mango Tour & Travel offered me. Everything was perfectly organized, allowing me to fully enjoy every moment without any worries. A huge thank you to Mister P, my passionate and caring Francophone guide, who made me discover Zanzibar under an authentic and captivating gaze. Simba, our driver, made every journey pleasant and smooth, and what about the captain? Thanks to his perseverance and expertise, I had the chance to admire dolphins in their natural habitat, a magical moment! Not to mention The Rock restaurant Thanks again to Them! Landmark encounters, breathtaking landscapes and an adventure in complete serenity...

Great for a whole days worth of excursions - This was a long day worth of excursions. I enjoyed it all even thought it took a while before we go to eat for the day. Book this if you have a free day and want to get many things done. I didn’t get to go to the rock restaurant. I was bummed I missed that one.

enjoyed our trip - We booked this private tour to make the most of our short time in Zanzibar, and it absolutely delivered! The itinerary is well thought out — from spotting dolphins on a stunning early-morning cruise, to seeing red colobus monkeys at Jozani Forest, Kuza Cave, and finally Paje Beach. It’s a full day and a great mix of nature, culture, and relaxation.
The communication before the trip was excellent and everything ran on time. Special mention to the boat captain and crew for the dolphin spotting — they were fantastic and really made that part of the day memorable.
Our driver and guide were punctual, polite, and pleasant to deal with. The only downside was the lack of interaction during the driving portions of the trip (which do total around 5 hours, though broken up). They mostly stayed quiet and played music in the car. It would’ve been nice if they had pointed out things of interest along the way or shared more about local culture during the drive.
That said, if you only have one day and want to cover the highlights of Zanzibar, this tour is a great option. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it.

Good way to see Zanzibar. - We did everything the tour advertised and as a result saw a good section of Zanzibar. If you to swim the cave a pair of swimming shoes are recommended as is quite rocky and slippery as you enter the water. The guide Abbas has a good command of English and is knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely use him and Mango Tours again.

Good tour but there were some deficiencies - Overall, the tour was good and it was a time well spent. I can recommend it to anyone.
There were, however, some deficiencies in it. The driver was great but the guide was not very interested in well, just working that day. The guide was very apathetic and not interested in sharing any information. Also, despite what the description says, they do not book a table at The Rock restaurant so if your tour falls on a day that is fully booked, you're out of luck.
