Inhabited since the Bronze Age, it’s known for the ruins of the walled Greco-Roman settlement of Gerasa just outside the modern city. These include the 2nd-century Hadrian’s Arch, the Corinthian columns of the Temple of Artemis and the huge Forum’s oval colonnade. The Jerash Archaeological Museum displays artifacts excavated from the site.

Highly recommended - Really enjoyed this tour. Adnan was a brilliant driver and shared lots of interesting information about Jordan along the way. Sites were wonderful especially Jerash. Everything was smooth and easy
Also really appreciated the free WiFi and bottled water

Scenic and Smooth Trip to Jerash and Ajloun - Had a great day trip with Mohammed Ali to Jerash and Ajloun. The Roman ruins in Jerash were impressive, especially for anyone who enjoys history and sightseeing. We had a quick but delicious lunch at Artemis Restaurant with a great view. The visit to Ajloun Castle was a highlight—standing on top with a view over the valleys of Jordan was a perfect way to end the tour. Mohammed was easygoing and made the day run smoothly.

Day Tour in Jordan - Our driver, Ahmed Khader was outstanding. He communicated with us in advance, we were picked up at our hotel at the time specified and most importantly not only he was an exceptional driver, Ahmed was personable and professional. He explained the entrance process at each site and made sure we were well taken care of during each visit. It takes a lot of practice and skill to drive in Jordan.. I would highly recommend Ahmed Khader.

A full-day trip from Amman - I just had one day in Amman and am glad that I went on this trip. It was a great experience seeing the Jordanian countryside and visiting three historic places on a day. I would highly recommend this trip. It was great to have private service. The driver, Adnan was very courteous and knowledgeable.

Had a great time - Mohammad Ali was an excellent host for this trip. The journey started at 9 AM and ended around 5:30 PM, allowing ample time at each location. Except for Jerash, you’ll need to hire guides, and tips are expected. The guide at Umm Qais was particularly passionate about explaining the site's history, while the Jerash guide was also excellent. As a solo traveler, Indian and an introvert, sometimes I face racism in my travels but this was a really positive experience. I also enjoyed exchanging travel stories with the driver. I highly recommend to book this trip. Thanks and good luck.

Jerash is wonderful but don’t overlook Umm Qais - Great trip and our guide, Anus, covered so much history and local interest. Umm Quis is an amazing site and the views inspiring. We were going to only visit Jerash but our guide spoke so passionately about Umm Quis that we booked the full day. We sure are glad we took Anus’s advice. On top of the fantastic historical sites and beautiful countryside, Anus also recommended a restaurant that offered Jordan’s national dish which was delicious. A great tour we highly recommend.

Jasrah tour - We had an amazing tour with Mohammed Bardaghawi. He was a very nice guide and the sites we saw was very nice. Jordan is very beautiful
