Ulaanbaatar City Tour

Genghis Khan Museum - Once checked in, take a moment to refresh and unwind before the welcome meeting. The tour guide will meet the group at 3:30 p.m. for a welcome session. During this meeting, the program schedule will be reviewed, roles and responsibilities will be discussed, along with logistics, safety guidelines, and emergency procedures. Any questions will be addressed. Following the meeting, the group will visit the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, which features 6 permanent exhibition halls and 2 temporary ones, showcasing exhibits like the First Kingdoms of Mongolia, the Mongolian Empire and its states, Mongolian royalty from the 13th-20th centuries, and the Great Khan’s House of Honor.

Genghis Khan Square - Established in 1921, this is the main square of the capital city. It holds significant importance as a place where Mongolians have experienced both joy and hardship. It is the central gathering spot for the people of UB, whether celebrating school graduations, weddings, or during hunger strikes and protests.

Baga Gazar Granite Canyon

Baga Gazriin Chuluu (Small Rock Formation) - After breakfast at the hotel, the group will head south to the Baga Gazar granite canyon, arriving at the base camp by noon. Participants will explore the granite canyon and visit the ruins of a monastery founded by a famous Mongolian philosopher. A rock with several Bronze Age inscriptions can also be seen. In the evening, enjoy stargazing and a cocktail made with local ingredients to clear the mind.

Ulaanbaatar - After an early breakfast, the group will drive through the open steppe back to the capital city, Ulaanbaatar. Arrival in UB is expected in the afternoon, followed by hotel check-in. There will be time to freshen up before the farewell dinner.
