Brilliant adventure booked by Pearl - I've just come back from an amazing vacation, planned with the assistance of Denis of Pearl Travel....I started communicating with him 6 months prior to travel, he was nothing short of BRILLIANT. Communication was efficient, and constantly available to answer my many questions as i was planning and prepping for this big adventure - that wasn't cheap. I was cautious but he made me feel safe and confident in his services and arranged everything perfectly. Initially i was changing the itinerary continually as it was evolving into what i wanted to do and see and he was patient and always available to advise and take on board all the changes along with offering great suggestions. Denis was our point of contact in person in Entebbe and when he wasn't with us he had made arrangements for other equally professional counterparts. We had a guide called Emmanuel in Bwindi who picked us up and took us through the whole gorilla trekking process until we were back on our flights to the next destination. So much more than I expected - I wanted to come to Uganda to see the gorillas, and after reading several reviews of several tour agencies, I chose Pearl Nature. Tour guide Denis arranged a visit to the Gorillas and so much more. He chose excellent lodges for me and was by my side most of the time and when he was not then he had another person to be with me. I was never alone as a solo traveler, and I always felt safe. The experience of seeing the gorillas exhilarating, and I met some local tribes and a boat ride to see the shoe bill bird Pearl nature holidays is an excellent outfit and Denis knows how to plan, a trip of a lifetime especially for me

Uganda tour with a guide. - This holiday exceeded all expectations, 12 days, 2,000 km, we saw so many amazing wild animals and stayed in some unique eco lodges with the pinical of the holiday being the gorilla tracking... Our guide Denis spoke very good English, was very knowledgeable and tended to our every need....

Amazing Gorillas - Gorilla treking in Bwindi National Forest was an amazing experience. It is vastly different than being on Safari - i highly recommend this. We took a medium trek which was just perfect. We started in Kigali, Rwanda as it is closer to Bwindi than driving from Entebbe. The border crossing was easy. We got the East African Visa from the Rwanda government office. This visa is good for Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya - costs $100. At first this was unclear but after we filled out the papers online we received confirmation in 24 hours by email. At the ariport in Kigali we got the visa in our passports asap! No need to go through a tour agency for the visa which costs more money. There is also mixed information online about covid tests for Uganda - currently there is no need for a PCR test. But do have your yellow fever certificate and take Maleria medicine as this area is known to have maleria. We used Rent A Driver in Uganda for all transport and hotel reservations. I gave them the lodges i wanted and they made the bookings - it all worked very smoothly. Do not miss this adventure!

Trip of a lifetime - It must be said my wife and I approached this with a singular desire to see Gorillas in their natural habitat. What we did not expect, and this is solely a result of Denis from Pearl Nature and both his excellent planning and wonderful character, was to fall in Love with everything about Uganda. Denis took us on an adventure filled with breathtaking landscapes, an abundance of wildlife from the tiny weaver birds to birds of prey to the prehistoric looking but captivating Shoebill, hippos, warthogs, lions, chimps, cobs, golden monkeys, buffalo, elephants and of course gorillas. The list goes on. We trekked, sailed and was driven to some of the most wonderful places. We stayed in lodges on hills and mountains overlooking impenetrable forests, stunning lakes and beneath a sky full of stars. All of this was underpinned by Denis who provided insightful history and cultural facts as well as wonderful humour and genuine warmth. Uganda is a delight and its people full of an infectious joy. Denis himself is professional and we genuinely feel this would not have been the trip of a lifetime that we will forever remember had we not booked with him but gone through some faceless agency based in the UK. As you can see from the length of this review we struggle to truly put in to words how good this trip was. Our sincere thanks goes to Denis. Pearl Nature Holidays w/ Denis - My friends and I did a 10 day safari trip with Denis, Pearl Nature Holidays. Denis made our experience one of the best, he went out of his way to ensure us a great trip with amazing experiences. Denis booked everything in advance and sent an itinerary to us months in advance, letting us know what clothes to wear and what type of weather to expect. Initially I thought 10 days would be a drag, but each day I caught myself saying “I thought it couldn’t get better than this, and then it did.” Denis took us to a rhino sanctuary to begin with, we did a few game drives in 2 separate national parks, Kibale and Queen Elizabeth. We visited Murchison falls national park. To top it off, we went Gorilla trekking, which had to been one of my personal best experiences. We got to experience wildlife at such a close proximity and Denis did an awesome job on answering all questions, he is extremely knowledgeable. We also got to meet the community & learn about the culture and herbal medicine. This trip was one of a lifetime. I can’t wait to visit again.

Awesome trip, even better organised - Great Travel agency. Communication 5 Star! Everything, really everything worked according iternery. Our tourguide Emma picked us up in Ruanda/Lake Kivu on time, brought us to Uganda for Gorilla trekking and over lake Bunyony back to Kigali to catch out flight.

100% reliable and knowledgeable tour guide that you shouldnt hesitate using! - Myself and husband had a 22 day tour of Uganda with Denis from Pearl Nature Holidays . Words can not describe how fantastic it has been . Denis is a local Ugandan, ex park ranger who has a vast knowledge of his country , every question fired at him was answered promptly and correctly. We did the major wildlife sights including Rhino, Chimp and Gorilla trekking and 3 of the parks in which we saw the Big 5 and much more .Denis's tracking skills put him high above many other tour guides when he located a single tree lion hiding in Murchison Falls NP that many others drove past and failed to recognise the signs. As well as the animals we chose the cultural tour which was beyond words , we visited 7 different tribes , one of which was Denis home village , there we helped with some humanitarian work by supplying essential items such as mattresses , blankets etc ,the people and the environment were totally overwhelming . If you have the opportunity and a little spare cash , i highly recommend you do this - you won't regret it . All in all a fantastic bucket ticking holiday that shall be remembered for ever !
