Enjoy lunch in Mbarara at the renowned Igongo Culture Centre before continuing through Kabale District, where you’ll pass by charming villages, cultivated farms, and stunning scenery, ultimately arriving at Rushaga Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Check in at the lodge, enjoy dinner, and spend the night at Rushaga Gorilla Camp, a high-end accommodation.
Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Today is the exciting day for encountering mountain gorillas. Start with an early breakfast to fuel up for the challenging gorilla-tracking adventure.
At 7:45 am, with a packed lunch, head to the ranger’s post by 8:00 am for a briefing before setting off with a ranger to track the gorillas. The search may take 2-7 hours in the dense forest. Once the gorillas are located, you will have the opportunity to spend an hour observing them as they interact, play, or engage in other activities.
Spending time with these endangered species, who are closely related to humans, is an unforgettable experience. Gorillas might even touch you, especially your hair, as a gesture of appreciation! Return to the lodge to freshen up and relax for the remainder of the day.
Later, visit the Batwa Community for a warm welcome and enjoy their amazing cultural dances. Learn about their culture and participate in their activities.
Transfer Back to Entebbe/Kampala
Entebbe - After breakfast, the final leg of the journey takes you back to Kampala. Stop in Mbarara for lunch, and after passing through Masaka town, take a break at the Equator for tea or coffee and to purchase souvenirs.
You will be returned to a hotel of your choice in Kampala or Entebbe for an overnight stay. If you are continuing your travels elsewhere or heading home, you will be taken to the airport for check-in after refreshing at our guesthouse.

The park features a hilly landscape covered with tropical rainforest. Its proximity to the equator results in a consistently wet climate throughout the year, with significant rainfall, although June and July tend to be drier. Visitors are advised to bring waterproof clothing and hiking boots for gorilla tracking in Bwindi.
