Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Lake Mburo National Park - Guests will be collected from their hotel in Kampala for a two-day safari to Lake Mburo. A tour guide will accompany them to western Uganda’s Lake Mburo National Park. On the way to the park, there will be a stop at Mpambire drum village and the Equator at Kayabwe, where water experiments will demonstrate the presence in both the Southern and Northern Hemispheres.

Continue the journey with a lunch break in Masaka town before heading towards the park. Upon entering through Nshara Gate, an enroute game drive will be a delightful experience, offering encounters with the park’s diverse flora and fauna, with wildlife often seen grazing alongside the Ankole domestic cattle.

In the evening, enjoy a two-hour boat ride on Lake Mburo, bringing you close to crocodiles and hippos. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at Mihingo Lodge/Mantana luxury tented for luxury, Arcadia cottages for mid-range, or Rwonyo campsite for budget options.

Game drive and transfer back to Kampala

Lake Mburo National Park - In the early morning, embark on a game drive to spot early risers and any animals missed during the previous drive. Return to the lodge for refreshments and lunch. In the afternoon, transfer back to Kampala with a lunch stop along the way. Arrival in Entebbe or Kampala will be in the evening, just in time for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
