Udaipur Highlights - We had a tour of the City Palace and Sahelion Ki Bari with Firoz. A thoroughly enjoyable day with a knowledgeable and professional guide who also kept us very amused with his wide range of Indian sayings. We also went to a very good restaurant overlooking the lake for a quick bite of lunch - a great recommendation. Thanks Firoz for helping our Udaipur stay to be so enjoyable.

Udaipur with Yusuf - We spent a couple of days in Udaipur last month. We booked a private trip with Delightful India Holidays. we were assigned a driver and Yusuf as our guide. He picked us up from the airport as was arranged. We did a day trip Kumbhalghar fort and spent the rest of the time exploring Udaipur. Yusuf was very helpful and knowledgeable about the places. He has grown up in this area with multiple generations having been associated with the royal family. His insight into the history of Udaipur was very helpful. He is quite knowledgeable and also quite approachable. We did enjoy his tour and were quite satisfied with his services. He was also very punctual and flexible in terms of adjusting to our schedule. I would recommend him highly if you’re looking for a guide in Udaipur

Nice tour of Udaipur - I had a great day seeing Udaipur with Yusuf. He showed me around the City Palace and the old town for a heritage walk. I also went on a nice boat ride around the lake with great views. The lunch stop had very good food. I learned a lot today and would highly recommend.

Wonderful city of Udaipur - A must-see - A splendid city to discover. We were very lucky because our guide was more than perfect. Very considerate, attentive, fun and very professional. I have a great memory of our boat ride on Lake Pichola and I loved Jag Mandir. The City Palace is obviously also a must, but this little stopover in Jag Mandir was my favorite. Ask Hanif if you are led to visit Udaipur, he knows his city at his fingertips. A splendid city to discover. We were very lucky because our guide - Hanif - was more than perfect. Very considerate, attentive, funny and very professional. I have a great memory of our boat trip on Lake Pichola and I loved Jag Mandir. The City Palace is obviously also worth seeing, but this little stopover at Jag Mandir was my favorite. Ask for Hanif if you ever visit Udaipur, he knows his city like the back of his hand.

Udaipur to Jodhpur - We have just completed three days in the company of our excellent Guide Firoz and our equally excellent driver. This started with a very early pick up, warm greeting and Mala garland at Udaipur airport. We then spent the day exploring the delights of the city. One which we were all keen to see and experience. We took in the lake, of course, a temple and the Palace. It did not disappoint and certainly worth a return visit. From Udaipur they transported us to our next destination of Jodhpur, going a little off the beaten track to experience a colony of fruit bats resting in the trees and a Persian Well. Firoz seemed to know exactly what we wanted and tailored our tour with the right distraction for us. As we arrived in Jodhpur quite late they even went out of their way to escort us to an excellent location for Evening refreshments and then back again to our hotel. The following morning we visited the Mehrangarh Fort with stunning views of the Blue City. I have no hesitation in recommending him and the driver, who kept us entertained with their humour and interesting conversation during the drives to our destinations and sharing their knowledge of the area.

At Saheliyon Ki Bari, he painted a vivid picture of the royal gardens where the queen and her attendants once found solace. Yusuf also ensured we experienced the charm of the Old City, guiding us through its narrow lanes lined with colorful houses, bustling markets, and hidden architectural gems. His recommendations for authentic Rajasthani cuisine were spot on, allowing us to relish the local flavors to the fullest. But beyond his knowledge, what truly set Yusuf apart was his warmth and effortless way of making the tour engaging. He answered every question with enthusiasm, adapted the itinerary based on our interests, and ensured we had the most immersive experience possible. Udaipur’s beauty is undeniable, but with a guide like Yusuf, it becomes a journey through time—one filled with rich stories, stunning architecture, and unforgettable memories.
