The Mardana Mahal and Zenana Mahal of the City Palace were entrusted to the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF), a trust founded by Maharana Bhagwat Singh himself. He also provided a significant endowment for this purpose. As a result, The City Palace Museum, Udaipur was established. Over the past fifty years, the museum has expanded significantly and continues to attract a growing number of visitors from around the world.
- Lake Pichola - True to its nickname, the City of Lakes, Udaipur is surrounded by numerous lakes that captivate visitors with their blue waters and scenic views. One such artificial lake, located in the heart of Udaipur, is Lake Pichola, constructed in 1362 AD.
