Art gallery that makes a very interesting stop - An art gallery close to the artists, where you will see students, and sometimes masters, at work. They are passionate about what they do and will explain everything about the four traditional art forms of Rajasthan (and of Udaipur in particular). They will tell you everything you want to know about the different media, about how they make the unalterable mineral pigments, and how to judge the quality and authenticity of works of art, whether traditional or innovative. A very interesting stop, and prices that are not exaggerated, but proportional to the amount of work that goes into each piece. And you don't have to buy anything; this is not a place where you will be harassed. They are passionate and ready to explain their art and demonstrate it to you, whether you are there to buy or not. It's not a tourist trap like many others in the city (avoid the places close to the city palace for instance); it's a place where you'll find varying levels of quality and craftsmanship in a variety of works that they will be happy to show you, including some truly remarkable pieces.

Recommended - Super experience! Wonderful to be able to immerse yourself in the rich painting of Udaipur with your family. Fine explanation by Naresh about the painting itself and the amount of practice and time it takes. Then a very nice workshop by Jeetu. A man of angelic patience. Nice to experience for yourself how difficult it is to paint so detailed and fine. Finally, a tour of the gallery of beautiful works. Good to know is that the gallery in the old town is outside the busy part, so you end up in an oasis of peace. Highly recommended!

Great experience - A great Art Experience at Pacific Art, Udaipur My daughter recently took part in a workshop at Pacific Art Udaipur, and it was a memorable experience. The teacher was skilled and generous with their time—patient, encouraging, and attentive to every detail. The session introduced her to the intricate techniques of traditional Rajasthani miniature painting in a way that was both accessible and inspiring. She came away with a beautiful piece of art that she was really proud of. The studio provided a calm, creative space where she could fully engage with the art form, and it was a lovely way to connect more deeply with Udaipur’s rich cultural heritage. Fun day with Naresh and... - Fun day with Naresh and Jitu - they were so friendly and kind. But most of all, they were so patient as we learned how to paint peacocks. Additionally, they had a massive collection of incredible miniature paintings for sale

Great learning experience - Incredible learning experience I went there with my mother, and we both learned a lot about the history, art, and culture of the city despite being locals. We were treated very well, and we learned a lot. We would highly encourage anyone to try this.
