- Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain - Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Cusco at 5:30 a.m. The journey to Palccoyo is about 3 hours and 30 minutes, with the first stop in Combapata for breakfast. Upon arrival at the Palccoyo Pass, there will be a 50-minute uphill hike. Participants will take part in a coca leaf ritual, designed to connect with Mother Earth and foster dialogue. Spectacular panoramic views of the three peaks of Palccoyo’s Rainbow Mountain and the highest mountain in the Cusco region, Ausangate, will be enjoyed. Approximately one hour will be spent taking in the breathtaking scenery. Following this, the group will return to the transportation to proceed to Checacupe, where they will explore its impressive colonial bridge for 30 minutes. Afterward, there will be time to savor a delicious lunch prepared by locals. The private transportation will then return to Cusco, which is approximately a 3-hour drive. Arrival back in Cusco is expected around 5:00 p.m.

Excellent all round - Edwar and Wilfredo were an excellent team. Edwar was extremely knowledgeable and kept up interesting conversation the whole time. He also made us feel that we could go at our own pace, which given the altitude, was much appreciated. And Wilfredo was a very careful driver, which cannot be taken for granted - we have been in some pretty ‘tense’ driving situations up in high mountain passes in Peru. Thank you both for an amazing day.

Day trip to Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain - This was an amazing tour! Our guide Alex picked us up right on schedule at the hotel and explained the day to us. Breakfast and lunch are included with this tour in an authentic Peru town along the way to the mountain and both buffet meals were very delicious. There is a very friendly cat Tokyo who makes you feel welcome while you are enjoying the delicious food. The ride to the mountain is very scenic and our driver was very skilled. Alex was a wonderful guide during the tour and explained how to harness the positive energy of this beautiful mountain range. He even showed us how to build a stone offering to thank Pachamama. I highly recommend this tour and please request Alex as your guide. You will not be disappointed.

Great natural connection - Amazing experience. The tour guide was excellent, very professional. Palccoyo it's a breathtaking place where you are connected with the nature. Albert did a great job explaining and communicating every aspect along the way. I recommend this tour 100%.

Excellent and nicely personalized - Chullos Travel Peru did an excellent job preparing us for the tour in advance and prompt in timing. Our guide was Edwin and he was very informative. We had some special circumstances that they accommodated for us. Palcoyo was spectatular and I’m glad we chose the shorter hike since the high altitude makes it tough and it was nice with fewer people to enjoy the experience. Edwin was fun to talk to especially during our pauses along the trail. We had a great experience and I highly recommend.

Second booking with this travel company - This is my second booking with Chullos Travel Peru. I did not expect the tour guide to be the same as my lake humantay booking. What I liked about the tour guide (Nilton) was that he was great at communicating a day before the tour with information on what to expect and what to bring. The driver (Alfredo) was friendly and drove us safely to our destination. Would recommend this company to my family or friends.

Colored Mountain just for you - Freaking awesome day!
The views from Palcoyo are breathtaking and the rock-forest section is awesome. The trail is somewhat circular and it is not so much crowded, so the mountain is all yours!
This was a great day, since this was one of our last activities in Perú, we were little bit tired of 4AM-one-hour-long pickups so we decided to so private tour and it was GREAT!
Our guide, Sexi José, made everything happen so smooth and fun that we did not want the day to end. I cannot imagine the tour without him.
Thanks again - this was a great day.

Palcoyo enjoyed himself! The amazing food and the path with patience - It was amazing, both the way and the food at lunch and breakfast, delicious and very varied.
Guide José super top, waiting for us when the climbing road became heavy given the height.
It is worth enjoying with this agency that goes at your own pace and worries about any ailment that may arise.
Very good recommendations to continue making the most of the trip

Spectacular views of Palcoyo - An incredible experience of the Palcoyo Region which is filled with colourful mountains and spectacular scenery throughout. Our guide Alberto was very hospitable and polite. Very comfortable transportation and delicious breakfast + lunch was also included. Highly recommended!
