• Campuhan Ridge Walk - This modest bridge, originating from the Dutch colonial period, provides insight into Indonesia’s intricate history. Here, the discussion will cover the Dutch East India Company’s role in colonization and how the Dutch initiated the first wave of tourism in Bali.
• Museum Puri Lukisan - At Ubud’s oldest art museum, visitors will explore the significant collaboration between 20th-century Balinese and Western artists. This cultural exchange was pivotal in establishing Ubud’s reputation as an arts hub. After viewing several pieces from the pre-World War II Balinese art collection, there will be a short break for refreshments.
• Puri Saren Palace - Visitors will step into the outer courtyards of the Ubud Royal Palace to uncover the historical and modern roles of Balinese royalty, while learning about palace architecture and traditional cremation rituals.
