Lovely experience thanks to good weather and good drivers - We had a great sunrise jeep tour to mount Batur. Luckily, the weather was perfect. Our driver from Seminyak to the jeep pick-up was Putu Adi. He was on time and spoke English well, telling us interesting things about Bali and extra stopping at a nice viewpoint for pictures on the way back. The jeep driver Kadek also took good care of us and drove safely. The hot springs were a nice experience, too with a beautiful view onto the lake.

Very nice night/day had - We have booked this sunrise trip entirely via whatsapp, booked at 11 pm and at 0200 am we were neatly picked up by Dema our private driver. Quite a trip through the night after which we arrived at the foot of Mount batur and continued from here with the 4x4 jeep to drive up the mountain. Arriving we got breakfast while waiting for the sunrise. (Unfortunately in our case it was cloudy, but still nice) After this with the jeep towards the black lava for some pictures,s and side seeing. Then we were taken to the hot spring which was definitely just as relaxing, the tickets incl towel, locker and drink were also included. Then on the way back we passed a coffee plantation where we were shown around and also got 14 different coffee / tea incl snack to try. After this the long journey back to the hotel which is actually also an experience. And were back in kuta at 14:00 All in all it was well arranged and the price also much more competitive than that offered in Hotel / travel agency. So we can definitely recommend it

From the start, communication about the tour and what to expect was clear and informative. Booking was easy and efficient. Our pick-up bus — a clean, comfortable, and powerful HiAce bus — arrived right on time, even at 1:00 a.m. Without any unnecessary stops, we went straight to the base camp to begin the jeep adventure. As we arrived, our 4x4 jeeps were already waiting for us. We were warmly welcomed with coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and some light snacks. Blankets and jackets were also available for rent, which was a nice touch. We then set off in the jeeps up to the caldera ridge — and it immediately became clear why a 4x4 was the perfect choice for this terrain. Our group of four jeeps was the first to reach the viewpoint. Since it was still dark, we had plenty of time to capture beautiful long-exposure photos. The drivers were great — they even helped take creative shots with light painting, using the jeeps as part of the scene. Seated comfortably in the provided folding chairs, with hot drinks, sandwiches, boiled eggs, and snacks, we enjoyed the magical moment of dawn — watching the sky shift from darkness to the golden light of sunrise over the volcano. The caldera, partly filled with drifting mist and fog, looked almost surreal — like stepping into a dream. During this moment, we also celebrated the birthday of our strong and brave OMA, who joined the trip — a memory she’ll surely never forget. Afterward, we packed up and left the site exactly as we found it, leaving only our footprints and jeep tracks. Our next stop was the black lava field — a stark, otherworldly landscape where little grows on the hardened volcanic rock. Standing there, it was easy to imagine the immense heat and power of the eruption that once shaped it. The contrast of the dark lava against the colorful outfits of our group made for striking photos. Finally, we continued to the hot springs for a relaxing dip in the naturally heated volcanic water. Afterward, we returned to the base camp, switched from the jeeps back to our bus, and headed home. Most of us dozed off during the comfortable ride back, content and happy. It was an amazing experience — a trip filled with warmth, beauty, and unforgettable memories. Thank you again, and we look forward to our next adventure with you and your wonderful team. ---
