Very exciting cycling trip 😝 - It was an exhilerating and meaningful experience. The guide is very friendly and knowledgeable. My family and I had lots of fun. Just be cautious on the main road. Would definitely recommend it. 👌

Education for the whole family. - We had a great day out on our cycle trip through the Ubud countryside… but to say it was just a cycle tour is an understatement!!!
Our driver picked us up right on time at the exact location agreed. He was great to chat with, very friendly and asked and answered lots of our questions. This was a private pick up for just our family of four.
First stop was at a local house where we got to sample some Bali sweet breakfast treats and some hot tea. The family who prepared the food were very lovely and welcoming.
Next stop was a local coffee plantation where we were given a guide through the varying coffee plants. We were shown through the whole process from picking the beans, sorting them, roasting and grinding. We were then given the chance to try about 13 different coffee and teas, which the kids really enjoyed.
Next it was on to the bikes - these were modern mountain bikes with front suspension and easy change gears. They also had a smaller bike for our 6 year old son (our 10 year old daughter was able to ride the adult bike). Then it was down the country road past various crops, jungle and small houses (the whole cycle is downhill you done really need to peddle at all). We then stopped at a local school where our awesome guide Joe (hoping I’m spelling that right) told us all about the village school. We then had the chance to go into one of the classrooms and meet with some of the children (this was a major highlight as my wife is a school teacher). Next stop about 20mins down the road was to a typical Balinese house where Joe again explained the various features of the house as well as asked us what our housing was like back home - I loved that Joe was not only interested in educating us about Bali, he was also keen to learn from us too. Next stop was a village temple where Joe again explained everything about the place and asked us some questions too - he also took lots of photos for us which meant that the whole family was in the shot. Last stop was to some rice paddy fields with a good talk about how the farmers use the water system to get their crops growing. Then it was back to the house we had breakfast, this time for a very yummy Balinese lunch.
Overall this was a great tour and ticked all our boxes!!! Would recommend to anyone wanting to get away from the traffic and get a small glimpse into the real Bali life.

Downhill cycle was a great experience - A lovely way to see the countryside in Bali. We were able to see the different farming activities and how the traditional home works. It was all downhill which was a bonus. Ade our guide was so knowledgeable.

Great excursion! - Amazing! The whole trip went well, whether it was breakfast, bike ride and lunch.
The guide was adorable and taught us many things about Balinese culture and was able to adapt (especially for rice paddies, the basic ones were not accessible so he found others).
Breakfast and lunch are held in the same place in a house where people are kind and helpful.
Thank you for everything;)

A very nice peek into... - A very nice peek into traditional Balinese life in the countryside, away from the busy city. My favourite part was the coffee and tea tasting! Tour guide was very well-informed, pick up and drop off from our hostel was easy, and the breakfast and lunch was very tasty!
Definitely recommend this activity to those who like the outdoors and seeing untainted local life, it was a great experience.

amazing bike ride in bali - Our second day trip with gowez and again we were treated like family! This is a family owned business and they take so much pride in providing the best possible service. This time we did the cycle tour again which is just so much fun. It’s so lovely riding through the villages and being greeted by the especially the kids! Its all downhill so very easy and fun. You get to see how rice is planted and managed and learn about the local culture. Our guide was ade who we have had before so it was so lovely to see him again. Our driver Made was so lovely and safe and it’s lovely to have the air conditioned car after being in the heat. We also got the see the waterfalls and the terraced rice fields.

Super fun bike ride! - Super nice bike ride with the three of us, guide showed us a lot and knew a lot about it. We went to sawas and villages in people's homes, we were allowed to watch in a school. The bike ride is not really tiring and doable
