We learned so much about... - We learned so much about women of Newcastle who fought for suffrage. Helen was so passionate about the stories she shared and clearly enjoyed sharing that passion.

Amazing!! - Thoroughly enjoyed our Votes for Women guided walk with Helen in Newcastle! She's an amazing orator and really brought to life the often horrific struggles of the women who fought for suffrage during the early twentieth century. Very reasonably priced and I'm very tempted to do Helen's gruesome tour in Hexham!

Interesting insights into our home city - Helen arranged a bespoke "Deeds not Words" walking tour for our Girl Guide unit - she tailored it for the girls, and it was really interesting and engaging. We all learnt lots of new facts about our city and the women who fought for the vote. Some graphic tales, but the girls coped well! It led to some interesting discussions...

Fabulous Tour - Really enjoyed this tour. I had some knowledge of the suffragette movement but this really helped to give a more detailed insight into the stories, events and experiences of the women whilst they fought for the women's vote. Helen really brought it to life. It was very informative. We walked around the streets of Newcastle and I learned and saw things I didn't know about. Lots of lovely stop off points and an easy walk around the city. Fabulous.

Helen is a great guide, she presents the story very well & had an engaging manner.
