Our brilliant tour guide... - Our brilliant tour guide gave us information about the region, its history and Vera. Interesting and so much fun. We had a great day. Also cudos to the bus driver.

Great - The driver and guide wete both very friendly and informative. Got to see all sorts of interesting parts of Newcastle and surrounds.

Lovely tour in a comfortable coach! - The tour was really fun, the guide was so nice and knowledgable and the coach was amazing - very comfortable and so nice to be driven around. She showed us video clips of some scenes in relation to where we were. The trip to Holy Island was amazing, so fun to see Vera's house!

Brilliant - The experience was brilliant. I purchased the Vera tour as a Christmas gift for my Husband , we both enjoyed both days and we learnt so much of the History about Newcastle and Northumberland truly beautiful scenery. Day 2 had Vera on the TV when approaching the Area where Vera was filmed this was helpful. Doing both days was the best thing to do if you love Vera then you will love and enjoy the tours. Thank you for a great time.

A tour that never disappoints. - It was lovely to return for the third time on this tour . I was surprised to be able to get close to"Vera's house" The guide was very very knowledgeable and shared a lot of personal anecdotes from being an extra on the programme. We had a nice bimble around Lindisfarne stopping for a rest.and a delicious hot chocolate, before we had to leave the island, in rather a hurry, to beat the tide. We also stopped at Seahouses having some fantastic fish and chips. I hope I will be able to come again, health permitting.

Really interesting tour - It was so interesting to see the locations of some of the murders in the series. They look so different on screen! Also great to learn some of the history of the sites we saw. Even those who are not fans of Vera would find the tour of interest.

Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. - Wonderful day in the company of Vera! We had a fantastic tour, lots of interesting facts and places visited, weather wasn’t too bad either. Thanks for a memorable trip.

- Very informative, funny at times, great to have video clips, good insights, and lots of stops, would definitely recommend it, even if you don't know much 'Vera', seeing sights of Northumberland were worth the trip, gives you a flavour to want to visit the area again

Not a great experience... - Not a great experience although not bad and actually a little misleading on the website. Predominantly its a bus tour of the Northumberland National Park with the guide on the bus highlighting the key scenes within the location where a number of the episodes were filmed as we passed through. At the same time you could watch on the screens on the bus the captions of the respective scenes. Highlight of the tour was the stop off to Veras house ( half an hour ) where you could take pictures from the outside and the visit to Holy Island for an hour which is like any other visit to Holy Island if you have been before. On the way back a an hours stop off at Seahouses and a ready lunch of fish and chips ( not included in tour price ) then a short stop off at Alnmouth. Not to put anyone off I would say its a good tour for those who have never visited the area before but living in Durham we had frequented many of the hotspots before and just thought we may have spent more time off the bus to see the areas first hand where many of the filming scenes took place. All in all it was OK but perhaps getting off the bus for say 10/15 minutes at the respective scene areas would in my opinion have improved the tour and this was also confirmed by a number of people on our bus. I cant say I would recommend this tour to a friend but at the same time wouldn't want to deter anyone from outside the area who have never been to this area going ?
