Wonderful introduction to Newcastle - This was my first time in Newcastle, and taking this tour on my first day gave me my bearings and landmarks for the rest of my stay. Rob of Reb Beard Tours must know everything about the city, as we took our journey through history and the city. I loved seeing the old remains of the wall and Black Friars just as much as exploring the Victorian era Grainger market. Rob introduced us to many eateries and coffee shops along the way, and I used his recommendations over the following days for most of my dining and snacking. This tour also opens up the small, whimsical side of Newcastle, with Rob pointing out things I never would have noticed. This included Invaders pixelated art and the vampire bat behind the cathedral. I never would have noticed Cafe 16 at the back of the cathedral, but they had the most fantastic pastries of my trip. If you want to get your bearings in Newcastle, this tour is for you.

A Must-Do in Newcastle! - Even Better the Second Time - A Must-Do in Newcastle! This was our second time doing a Red Beard walking tour in Newcastle, and it was just as brilliant as the first — if not better! Rob has an incredible way of bringing the city's rich history and colourful characters to life. It’s the perfect mix of storytelling, humour, and local knowledge. No matter how well you think you know Newcastle, you’ll discover something new every time. Can’t recommend it enough!
