While Buddhism and Christianity are well-known in Vietnam, Caodaism remains relatively lesser-known. As the youngest religion in the country, Caodaism uniquely blends elements from various major religions into its practices. The Tay Ninh Holy See, also known locally as Cao Dai Temple, embodies this intriguing belief system. Prayers are held four times daily in the Great Temple (suspended during Tet). Visiting during prayer sessions is recommended (the noon session is particularly popular with tour groups from HCMC). Only a few hundred followers, dressed in splendid attire, participate in weekday prayers, but during festivals, several thousand may attend.
