Day Cooking Class - We had an excellent experience. Loved the small class and going to the local markets. We were able to cook and experience all the lively Vietnamese food. Loved the way Trang explained the balance of the spices, etc. It was great that Trang sat with us to eat the food to explain more about the food. Great experience with Trang and her passion made the whole experience more captivating.

Solo cooking class experience!, - I had a truly unique and amazing cooking class today with Jacuelyn (sp). The day included a trip to the oldest market in Hanoi, which hs to be seen to be believed!
The meal we created was amazing! Can’t recommend enough…the environment for the class is simply gorgeous!,

A wonderful experience from start to finish! - I thoroughly enjoyed my 5h with the Thom cookery school. Jase (? spelling), our host and teacher for the morning, was absolutely brilliant. I was picked up and taken to meet her, and 2 other tourists, at one of the old market entrances. She took us round the market and showed us different fruits/vegetables/herbs/barks etc and explained the ways/foods of the local people. We then went (by car) to the cookery school in district 4, which was is an oasis of peace and calm, with multiple fruit trees and a large herb and vegetable garden which we were shown round. We were able to eat some fruits I’d never heard of and then started preparing our dishes. Clear chicken broth, spring rolls, stir fried beef and noodle salad and morning glory with garlic. Jase was lovely and explained everything so well. It was a small group class so we were able to ask lots of questions. We ate our dishes for lunch and it was all delicious. It was a wonderful experience and very good value for money.

Best cooking class in Hanoi - What an incredible experience
I looked at several classes and this one seemed to have the best reviews and I can see why it was amazing
From the collection to the tour of the market then arriving to the cooking school location
Please don’t consider other options pick this one you will love it

A great way to spend half a day in Hanoi. - A great half day spent with family having a guided tour around the food markets and cooking class, then getting to sit with all those that joined us on the tour, eating what we prepared. The markets were wonderful to experience for us, as we don’t see that sort of thing where we live in Dunedin, New Zealand. The cooking class was made super fun and informative with Mango.

Cooking experience - Just book it!!!
Our day was about what was expected! Getting a local to walk us through the market added so much more to the experience. The property where you cook was such a suprise from the busy city, it really sets the tone for an enjoyable experience. The food was so good and the spring roles we made were my favorite from the whole trip.
I can't say enough good things about our time!

Vietnamese culinary experience - It was a great culinary experience in Hanoi to meet Trang Ta a great Vietnamese food connoisseur and professional. Friendly, friendly and willing to explain Vietnamese culinary techniques, the menu he prepared together with us very rich.

Fun and worthwhile! Highly recommend! - She is very fun and knows her way around the kitchen. We shopped for food, prepared, cooked and then ate the meal all the while learning about Vietnamese culture and customs. She even walked us back to our flooded hotel in the rain when we could not get a taxi! A wonderful experience!

A must go activity in Hanoi. - Brilliant from start to finish. Our chef was so enthusiastic and made the experience very enjoyable.
Gorgeous surrounds, fresh ingredients and very yummy food that we made. Would highly recommend.
