Takachiho Gorge - [Day-1] 12:30-14:30 <free walk and rental boat> Takachiho Gorge
*15 minutes from <bus waiting> Ohashi Parking Lot, 1248-4 Oshikata, Takachiho: Buses cannot access the boat terminal, so enjoy a 15-minute walk along the promenade filled with refreshing ions from the parking lot. Takachiho Gorge’s rental boats can accommodate up to three people.
The cost is ¥4100 or ¥5100 (approx. USD 30-40) per boat.

This site is central to one of the most famous legends in Japanese mythology. In the tale, Amaterasu, the Shinto sun goddess, was so angered by her brother’s mischievous pranks that she hid in a cave, depriving the world of her life-giving light.

Kokonoe Yume Otsurihashi opened on October 30, 2006. It spans 390 meters in length, stands 173 meters high, and is 1.5 meters wide, making it the highest suspension bridge in Japan designed solely for pedestrians.

Yunotsubo Kaido Street runs through the heart of the popular hot spring town of Yufuin, stretching from Yufuin Station to Lake Kinrinko.
