Tozeur - Tozeur is the capital of the Bled El Jérid region, situated in the southwest of the country, near the Algerian border. Chebika - Chebika is a mountain oasis located in southern Tunisia, specifically in the west of the Tozeur governorate.
Tamerza Canyon - Tamerza or Tameghza is 14 kilometers north of Chebika, near the Algerian border. It was an ancient Roman and Episcopal defensive position during Byzantine times. The road to Tamerza is winding, running along a large canyon that stretches 10 km from Chebika. Its construction dates back to World War II when Rommel, besieged by the allies, came from the North.
Decor Star Wars Tunisie - In the Tunisian desert, 14 km from Nefta and 38 km from Tozeur, George Lucas set his scene. The location is enchanting, drawing visitors from curiosity to adventure. These same sets were used for filming episodes I and II of Star Wars.
Nefta - The basket of Nefta is a crevice shaped like a basket from which 152 springs once emerged to irrigate the entire palm grove of Nefta. In the 1980s, the springs dried up one after another, leading to desolation. The same phenomenon occurred in El Hamma, Degache, and finally Tozeur.
Chott El Jerid - The Chott Djerid salt lake is the largest saline plain or sebkha in Tunisia, covering an area of approximately 5,000 km2. It is the largest sebkha in the Maghreb.

Matmata - The city of Matmata is located in southeastern Tunisia, west of the city of Gabès. It is an ancient Berber village spread across the hills, blending with the rocky landscapes, offering a panoramic view from the mountain top and concealing one of Tunisia’s unique sites.
The village houses are known as troglodyte houses, where visitors can admire the beauty of the underground dwellings in Matmata. These are located in an underground pit shaped like caves, with each pit forming a circular shape and consisting of a courtyard decorated with drawings and colors, along with other rooms of the house, all with smooth mud walls. History and civilization enthusiasts are encouraged to visit this beautiful village, attracting tourists worldwide on daily tours to explore underground life and learn about the customs and traditions of its inhabitants.
Ksar Ghilane - Ksar Ghilane is an oasis in southern Tunisia, located on the eastern edge of the Grand Erg Oriental, known as the southernmost of the Tunisian oases and one of the gateways to the Tunisian Sahara desert. A hot spring emerges in the oasis, often suitable for bathing, believed to have thermal benefits. Tataouine - Tataouine, the governorate of southern Tunisia, is a significant tourist center due to its rich archaeological and heritage reserves and its environmental and ecological diversity. Tataouine is characterized by the homogeneity of its Berber, Berber, and Arab population.
Ksar Ouled Soltane - Located about 20 km south of Tataouine in southern Tunisia, Ksar Ouled Soltane is a well-preserved fortified granary built by the Berbers in the 15th century. Constructed with adobe (raw earth), the ksar is spread over two courtyards, each with vaulted attics serving as food reserves, called ghorfas. In ancient times, granaries were often fortified to prevent looters from stealing food supplies from villages. Like other granaries built by Berber communities in North Africa, Ksar Ouled Soltane is situated on a hill, protecting it from raids.
Chenini Berber Village - Chenini, a Berber-speaking Jewish village in southern Tunisia, 18 kilometers from Tataouine, was established by mixed Berbers and Arabs in a mountainous area, built atop a hill. Its oldest buildings date back to the 12th century. It is distributed on three levels, topped by the Chenni Palace, a ruined castle likely used to store crops such as oil, cereals, spices, etc. Some buildings are still used to store cereals by the villagers living in the valley.
Djerba Island - Djerba is an island off the Tunisian coast known for its Mediterranean beaches and white desert towns influenced by Berber, Arab, Jewish, and African cultures. Its main town is Houmt Souk, famous for its craft markets, fishing port, and 16th-century fortress, Borj el Kebir. To the south is the El Ghriba Synagogue, a pilgrimage site for North African Jews.

Houmt Souk - Houmt Souk is the administrative capital of the Tunisian island of Djerba. It is located about twenty kilometers from Ajim (the island’s ferry arrival point) and El Kantara (the island’s arrival point via the so-called Roman road). It is the main town of the municipality of Djerba-Houmt Souk, serving as both the capital of a delegation and the seat of a municipality with four districts for 75,904 inhabitants (2014)2, covering 176.54 km2, excluding the district of Mezraya. The city of Houmt Souk alone had a population of 44,555 inhabitants in 2004.

Military Museum Of Mareth Line - The Mareth Line was a series of fortifications built by the French to protect their protectorate of Tunisia from an Italian invasion of Libya. During World War II, Rommel refortified the Mareth Line during his retreat from Egypt after his defeat at El Alamein. The Mareth Line was eventually overwhelmed, forcing Rommel to continue his retreat. The museum features detailed battle plans and artifacts. Outside, there are artillery pieces, bunkers, and old trenches.
Gabes - Gabès is a city in southeastern Tunisia. As the largest city in southern Tunisia after Sfax, Gabes uniquely serves as both an oasis and a seaport. This port function dates back to the industrial development of the 1970s.
