Amazing experience - This was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done! Our guide Diana was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to understand. I can’t wait to come back.

A must experience with the family! - Our tour guide Omar was absolutely wonderful and amazing! His knowledge of the caves and the ruins was astonishing. He definitely show his love not only for his country but also for his culture. He emerges in the history and showed us pictures in his phone of what he was explaining and different documentaries that he has seen about the ruins and the mayas. It was such a great experience and our son loved every moment of it!

Best Guided Tour Experience - This was an amazing 10/10 experience and I wouldn’t have changed anything. Diana was our tour guide for the entire day, and she was absolutely wonderful, sweet, and knowledgeable. Tulum was beautiful, and the caves were unlike anything I’ve ever seen- life‑changing. We explored the “Enchanted” Purple String caves, and I would come back just to see the rest. It was one of the best days ever and well worth the price for the traveling, lunch, and everything else included.

Best excursion around. - This is the best excursion I have had. The admission fee is great for all that you get. The length of time underground was perfect. The atmosphere is amazing and I would do it again. We have a group of 10 people and that was great. The staff and tour guide were wonderful and we had the best time ever.

Rio Secreto/Tulum from Catalonia Riveria Maya - One of the best experiences I have had. First time in a cenote (and spelunking). Also first time at Mayan ruins. Imelda was our guide and she was helpful and just fantastic. Everyone, the driver, and everyone at the venues were friendly and great. I highly recommend this package.

Probably one of the best tours near Cancun - Rio Secreto was not as cold as we expected, and we have a 8 year old and a 12 year old went with us. We would do it again with a different underground section. Tulum is good, but different from 16 years ago when we visited for the first time. Facilities are good

Great tour, highly recommend - This was a great tour; the whole family enjoyed it. Would absolutely recommend to anyone thinking about it. It was very well organized, the van arrived exactly on time, there were no high pressure sales or surprises. Our guide, Diana, was amazing - she made us feel very comfortable, gave clear instructions, and gave great commentary on all the sights. Very enjoyable outing!

Fun trip - We accepted the long van ride. The tour company provides everything to make the cenote tour safe and comfortable. The tour guide Isabella was gracious and informative. The cenote tour was great. The Tulum visit was well planned.

Enjoyed our trip but itinerary seems purposefully vauge - Main issues for me are: advertising makes it seem like you go to Tulum first, get all hot and sweaty, and then cool off in Rio secreto. Thats not the case so you get in cold water first thing in the morning and by the time you get to Tulum its the hottest part of the day, youre outside the whole time AND no plastic water bottles which I totally get but its not mentioned anywhere until you get to Tulum so theres no way to prepare. Being outside in the middle of the day walking around with no water was not pleasant for anyone in my tour of 10 people.
We are staying in playa mujeres and it took about 3 hours to get back from tulum so expect a lot of time in the van to get to these places but more time getting back to your resort if youre as far away as we're staying.
Definitely a unique experience, our tour guide Imelda was great and knowledgeable and helped keep the pace of our group up so we could see as much as possible.

I would have put 0 stars, but only for the seat and the 2-star lift guide - The place is really very nice and worth a visit. The guide, Omar, was very good, prepared and engaging, making the experience interesting and enjoyable.
However, the organization leaves something to be desired, especially in relation to the price paid. On Sundays in Tulum there were no entrance fees, so the additional $20 was not applied, but we still paid $125 per person (a 10% discount compared to the initial 139).
Unfortunately, on the day of the visit we could not even visit Tulum because of a protest related to the new taxes that the state wants to apply, and so we returned to the hotel. The next day we spoke to the girl at the hotel who sold us the excursion: considering that the package for the visit to Rio Secreto alone costs $119, we were only refunded $6 per person. The only alternative proposed was to return another day while still paying another $20 for taxes, which we did not consider correct.
Another unpleasant aspect is that you can not bring cameras or phones to take pictures inside Rio Secreto. There is a photographer for each group who takes several photos along the way, but the prices are decidedly high: $35 for a single photo or $120 for the entire package (58 photos, some of them of animals we haven’t even seen).
Finally, as soon as you get off the bus everything is very hectic: you have the feeling of having to do everything in a hurry, without time to fully enjoy the experience.
In summary: beautiful place and excellent driving, but organization, management of contingencies and extra costs definitely improveable.
Tip: we booked on booking another excursion with great prices and many activities, even if the group was 60 people.
