The trip was great and... - The trip was great and the small group made it very enjoyable! It felt very private as the guide, Sully, could talk to all of us individually and provide important information and facts about our itinerary

Amazing excursion! - Amazing excursion! Rafael was an amazing guide who kept us intrigued and having fun throughout. We learned a lot, swam with turtles and sting rays, and even saw a shark!! Can’t express enough how great this excursion is!

Overall this was a great... - Overall this was a great way to see some of the main Tulum highlights without worrying about driving and coordinating activities on your own. Our tour guide was very attentive, professional and fun. Snacks/water we're provided for free which was SO appreciated given the long day. Unfortunately we were not able to snorkel with turtles due to weather, but we were able to snorkel in a lagoon with plenty of fish instead which my husband said he actually preferred. The cenote caves were phenomenal. The time at the ruins was just enough. As mentioned by other reviewers, be prepared to spend a while on the bus due to pickups and drop offs. But, the bus was comfortable so I did not mind much. Also, wear a sunshirt as sunscreen is not allowed in the cenotes or lagoon. Some of the travelers in our group were not aware and got some memorable sunburns. Finally, be prepared that this activity takes a full day. The van picked us up from Playa at 8:30am and we got home around 6:30pm. Our only "complaint" would be the photography portion. To enter the lagoon and cenote we first had to wait for every person to complete staged photos. When you're standing in the hot sun with refreshing water just in front of you, it's frustrating to sit through a photoshoot first. The staged photos detracted from the experience.

Fun outing - The guides for this trip were amazing. The caves cenote we went to was spectacular and the lunch was delicious. We had a very windy day so we weren’t able to go on the boat to snorkel, but we were able to go into a very nice lagoon and do some snorkeling. The reasons I gave this a four is first the van was super crowded which I guess that’s what you get when you do a shared shuttle service for one of these tours. They did have free water and snacks though. There is beautiful scenery at Tulum, but it’s not my favorite archaeological site to visit. It felt underwhelming. We did not learn too much about it while there and its aways from Cancun- 2 hours?. It is a beautiful photo spot and that might be all some people want. So far my favorite Mayan places to visit are Chichen Itza and Ek Baram. If you go, I would bring a long sleeve swim shirt if you’re sensitive to the sun and a towel. Sunscreen is not allowed in the water as it can ruin the ecosystem.

13- hour day - As our resort was the farthest northeast, we were picked up first and dropped off last, this made for a 13-hour day. Our visit to Tulum was cut short due to having to change plans for rough weather, so this was disappointing as we were very interested in the history and stories that Mosiah, tour guide in Tulum was sharing. Our second stop was in Akumel to a lagoon for snorkeling, nice calm water and plenty of fish yo swim with. The last stop was to Yum Balum Cenotes, and this was our favorite of the day. Swimming in caves below the jungle is truly amazing! At this stop we were offered delicious tacos for lunch- 8 hours after our pick-up time, needless to say, we were hungry. Chips, bananas, granola bars and water were offered throughout the day, thank goodness. Our ride home was torturous as an accident, construction and traffic slowed us to a snails pace, then the one by one dropoffs slowed us even more. Live and learn- our new rule, under an hour away excursions for us! The upside— Sergio and Sergio were wonderful!

Wont pickup from hotels north of Cancun - skip them if you're there - Had this booked for our time while there. Chose this tour because of 1, the tour itself even though it was going to be a LONG day and 2, they had our hotel listed as a pickup option (Planet Hollywood). Got confirmation messages from them, all good right? Nope. Two days before departure got a new message saying they cant pickup at our hotel and we had to make the trek into Cancun to be at a pickup point for a 0430 pickup. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. When people make plans for their vacations it's not all about one excursion, them presenting us with an only option at the last minute had a huge impact on our trip & we ended up having to move a lot of other things to accommodate doing a similar but much better trip with another company that cost twice as much booked through our resort. Save yourself the hassle and just skip direct to another option. So, lesson there, if you're in the "new hotel zone" north of Cancun, skip these guys, and plan for a different tour from a different company.

Very poor unsafe transport. - Unfortunately we got off a hotel pickup. We were packed into a mini van , no space with four adults on back seats with tiny seats! Didn’t want to sit in a very unsafe van without being able to put seat belts in. No space for bags and 3 hour ride from Cancun wasn’t going to happen! Never had this before. So we got out at the Hilton Waldorf Astoria as two more people got on the mini bus. On a positive the tour guide was really good and supportive and agreed that the travel was unacceptable. We got a taxi at our own expense back to our hotel which took 15 minutes yet we’d been in the mini van for over an hour! So waste if 60 usd. Avoid and do the tour yourself!!

Falsely advertised - The trip I booked advertised that we would be visiting 2 cenotes. That never happened. What we did see was nice, but extremely disappointed I didn’t get what I paid for!

Tulum ruins, snorkeling, cenote - I booked this tour in hope that it will have some extraordinary twist for the tour that other companies were advertising for around $60. Unfortunately, there was nothing special about it. It was poorly planned and low maintained. Due to the weather, they brought us to the lagoon instead of reef with turtles. The worst part was that they didn't provide flippers, although we saw all other tours supplied those. It was expected that we snorkel and then all wet travel 30 minutes to a different location for their private cenote swimming. Even after swimming, we went all wet to take a lunch and only after that we had a chance to change our cloth. Nobody in my family enjoyed this trip.
