Amazing experience - We had soooo much fun on this excursion. Sergio was our guide and he was absolutely amazing. Overall the experience was a 10/10. My favorite part was the cenote swimming. It was BEAUTIFUL! I have to add the only downside to this was that Viator says they offer hotel pick up and they ask you to put in your pickup location, however they do not. They will text you prior to pick up with a meeting point and you’re responsible for getting yourself to the meeting point to be picked up.

Again! Again! With family this time! - It was truly the best day ever! I couldn’t stop saying that throughout! Our tour guide Sergio was a mix of funny, attentive, and educated! I learned so much and also had a great time! This experience felt divinely orchestrated by God and it was so nice to connect with my adventure side. As a solo traveler, I did not feel alone. I connected with great people. All of the staff were wonderful. An awesome time, can’t wait to come back with family. We even had a Mayan lunch at the end of the trip! Have a nice breakfast with some protein cause you’ll be active all morning & afternoon! I made it off some cranberry and nut trail mix. You’ll be fine! Hope you have the best time!

Great time - Everything was really fun! We were late getting started and didn’t end up getting to go horse back riding. When our group and my family were all on the bus about to go back to our resort, they pretty much made to sign a form saying we can’t any kind of partial refund for not getting to do horse back riding that we paid for. They didn’t really leave us much of a choice but to sign. Everything was great but that kind of made us a little salty.

Decent but not what was promised - The zip lining was great! The reservation said we would ride ATV for 45 minutes but it was more like 25 minutes. We were told that we would get Mexican food but they ran out of meat and only gave us cheese empanadas. We were told that the pictures would be $20 USD, but they charged us $50. Our guide was great and the drivers were great. Just felt like there was some misleading advertisement with the experience.

No bells and whistles, you get exactly what you paid for with extra time added to the tour - This experience was average, nothing more, nothing less. However the amount of time they have to expect to spend is quoted at significantly less, a below average quote by far. We were supposed to do horses, but at already 6.5 hours being there, just wanted to get home. We went back with an earlier group and still was 2 hours over the quoted time. The group I was in had 16 people. Way too much for one group, which of course makes the timing stretch long for each person to zip line and for the whole tour to go through the cycles. This should have easily been quoted for 7.5 hours. The cenote is smaller and has a lot of people in it at once, so we decided to skip ours out of preference of not being lumped with so many others in a small area. The food was ok, rice, beans and a little bit dried quesadillas with salsa. This was average, you do get what you paid for and everyone is friendly, but don't expect bells and whistles.

Far from what TripAdvisor described, more of a tourist trap than an authentic experience. - I was already feeling unwell the morning of the tour, but since cancellations within 24 hours aren’t refunded, I decided to push through. Some of the people from
my group were smoking marijuana during the ride to the cenote.
Once we arrived, we had a quick briefing and then rode quads in a single file along a very dusty road. If you do decide to go, bring large glasses and a bandana otherwise, you’ll be eating dust. We stayed on a line and breaking constantly . The person behind me crashed into me twice, and one quad in front of us broke down,
Next came the Mayan ceremony which was supposed to be a meaningful cultural moment. Some of the group left halfway through. Then we went to the zip line a short, fully supported drop into the water. Not what I’d call “adrenaline-inducing.”
While waiting, I saw the previous group on horseback being led down the same dusty road, not a jungle like the description sais, the horses were literally pulled by guides on a rope, which felt a bit sad.
By that point, I decided to leave early with the previous group, and I never even made it into the cenote. After more than 2.5 hours, I had experienced neither immersion in Mayan culture nor a genuine adventure in the jungle.
Not recommended. This felt more like a tourist trap than an authentic experience.
