Must-do in Tucson! - We headed to the Tucson area for a family holiday with our two teens and were looking for things to do around town - we found the Downtown Food and Walking tour. The organizers were helpful and accommodating when the date we wanted didn’t have enough room for our family - they quickly adjusted to group size and we were all able to register. Our guide, Chris, was an amazing host! He provided us with not only great food recommendations, but also shared his local knowledge and history with us. You can tell how proud he is of his city! He was very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions anyone in the group had and he did a great job providing the background for each of the restaurants we visited. Each restaurant had something unique to offer - everyone left extremely satisfied (and quite honestly, stuffed!).

Tasty and informative - Our Tucson Food Tour was one of the highlights of our trip! It was an outstanding blend of Tucson history and delicious food. Karen was so knowledgeable and made everyone feel comfortable and accommodated. It was well paced and awesome to have orders ready to go and included at every stop. Based on the reception each restaurant gave her, it’s clear they are a trusted and respected tour crew. In an official City of Gastronomy, it’s really a must-do activity!

Fun, delicious and informative - This tour was so informative and delicious! Karen Brown was our guide and she was very knowledgeable, about Tucson itself about the food and even the owners and chefs of the places we stopped and tasted. We have been to Tucson several times, but this was all new to us.

It was an excellent team building event that allowed us to relax and get outdoors. Karen's comments and suggestions prompted many natural conversations, keeping the vibe light and fun. The food was well planned and delicious, each restaurant accommodated the large group with positive hospitality. A win all around.

Great foodie tour combined with fun city tour! - We had a fantastic time! Karen Brown was so fun! She was a total foodie and brought us to some amazing places. We had everything from tasty pastrami sammies (Hub), to the best enchiladas in Tucson (El Charro), to awesome pizza at The Monica. Oh yeah, great ice cream at the Screamery! We have lived in North Tucson for 6 years and haven’t been to any of these places - I’m embarrassed to admit that! It was cool that all these great food choices were within blocks of each other which made for great walking. Karen was so great to spend time with. She is fun, great sense of humor, personable, and knew so much about Tucson foods! But as a huge bonus, she had SO much knowledge of the history of Tucson, the murals, the building architecture….just a perfect package of a gal showing us the city! Thanks Karen!

Needs to include something about using Uber if in a large van. - I had texted 5 days prior checking on the parking. Reason is I travel in a 21 foot high top Sprinter van. I received no reply. Went to the event and arrived early to get parking. Parking was on 2 hours in length and the parking garage hight limit was 8 1/2 foot tall. My Sprinter is over 10 feet.
