Give Hang a raise! - Hang was the most attentive, knowledgeable, caring and thoughtful tour guide we have had! We did the day trip and left early via speedboat and he ensured it was a seamless process! Please give him a raise, he has a heart of gold and he truly loves his job. Hang is the real MVP!!!!

Ninh and the pirates of Lan Ha Bay - The Trip was so great overall! Pickup from hotel, Transfer to ferry, and the boat Tour with All the activities, everything was smoothly arranged. The ship was well equipped and offered Fruit, Snacks, coffee, drinks, even some coconut.
Ninh, our guide, was extremely friendly, funny and did everything so we could enjoy the Tour. He provided us with lots of Information and facts about the places we went by. Apart from the harbor we didnt see any ships and really avoided the crowds.

The BEST Tour! - This is the best tour I’ve done, mainly due to it having the best guide, and I have had an abundance of great guides. The guide, Hang, has great English, and was genuinely great to just speak to, talk to, and have around, feeling - by the end of it - like more of a knowledgable friend than a guide. Not only did he know everything there is to know about Cat Ba - and Ha long Bay and La Han Bay - the geography, weather, wildlife, culture, etc, he also knew how to speak to us all in such a friendly manner, encouraging us all to make the most of our trip. A highlight is him surprising us by shouting ‘don’t be lazy, just be crazy’ and then jumping off of our 4 meter high boat into the gorgeous water. He really managed to get everyone going! Not only was he excellent in this regard, but he ended our trip with a series of entertaining magic tricks. What more could you want from a guide!? The lunch was the best I have ever had on a guide, I felt as though I was dining like a king, and feel fortunate to have eaten such an array of Vietnamese cuisine, and seafood which is a specialty of Cat Ba (which you learn about when visiting the fishing village, which was very interesting and informative). You don’t need a food tour, as this tour manages to give you all you need. Other than that, the tour was incredible, everyone was in high spirits because of the tour, and the guide Hang. I’m so pleased and thankful I picked this guide, and would recommend it to anyone whom wishes to have as great an experience as possible when visiting Cat Ba.

Vietnam tour's best experience - Fantastic experience.
Sailed around in between the rocky islands, so hardly any other ships.
Super good guide Hang, he knew a lot about the area and Vietnam. Good guide who was very aware that everyone in the group, had it well.We were 20.
Nice ship, fine toilet conditions and solar tires.
Good and varied lunch and fruit included.
2 stops with swimming tours to small lonely beaches.
Fantastic canoeing, sailed around between beautiful lonely lagoons for 2 hours and managed to get seen monkeys.
Not a time when the trip did not feel safe and well organized.
We were very happy that we chose this cozy and cheap way to see Lan Ha and Ha Long Bay.
The tour can be viewed on the Moon Hotels website and cost 35 USD and lasted from 9am and 6pm

Definitely avoiding the crowds - We had a fantastic time on this tour. The boat was comfortable, the food was great and the tour guide Hang was amazing. He had great knowledge, was extremely friendly and had some magic card tricks that still have me scratching my head.
Every spot we hit on this tour was just us or a few boats. They time everything well so you’re not in a location during its peak time.
Would highly recommend.

Boat trip - We had a brilliant experience on our trip with our tour guide Hang, he took us kayaking and swimming and we visited a fishing village, the food was great and we saw monkeys twice. Definitely the best tour group we’ve been with.

Great experience! - Had a great time doing many fun activities such as swimming, kayaking through caves/lagoons and visiting fish farms. Hang made the experience even better as the tour guide. I couldn’t recommend this tour more!
