Everything as promised. Thanks to the Commander's patience we enjoyed the spectacle of Stromboli and its explosions - The organization was flawless. Maximum punctuality. During the navigation we were informed of everything, with explanations of the places in Italian, English and German. The Commander was found very friendly and helpful. Also excellent bar service on board with prices equal to the bars on land. And finally, thanks to the Commander, who really allowed us to see the Stromboli show, stopping even beyond the scheduled time. Many thanks to all the crew

Wonderful day - Comfortable boat, clear instructions, friendly staff, respecting schedules and excellent organization. Although there were many of us, about 270, it was not stressful to embark and disembark. Everyone had their own place, there was the bar, and both crossings were pleasant. Sciara spotted and beautiful day

"Surrounded by blue" - Fabulous tour! Vehicle with which we sailed new and equipped with all comforts. Seats located everywhere to fully experience the magic of navigation and to admire the beauty of the islands proposed. Top staff! Nice and helpful. But Miss Sara is the difference maker, professional and super welcoming. Mrs. Maria Teresa excellent Guide provided us with useful information on stages and funds.

Good service - We purchased the "Stromboli by night" tour through the getyourguide app. Departure at 2 pm from Marina di Tropea where it was not particularly difficult to find parking for the car. The only negative note that boarding could be handled better, a bit too much confusion between different Tours and Tour operators departing from the same pier. Then everything went smoothly: comfortable boat, all in all respected times and pleasant staff. Positive experience for us.

So-so - I liked the itinerary, although I expected something more visible at Sciara del Fuoco. However, the ship was carrying too many people sitting in very confined spaces.

Not all it's cracked up to be - 12 hours is a long time, when nothing much is happening. We departed from Vibo Marina. Took an hour to get to Tropea Marina. The spectacular Tropea coastline makes this part of the trip worthwhile. It takes another 2 hours to get from Tropea to Stromboli. You the have over 4 hours to explore the island. There is a beach on the island, with black volcanic sand/pebbles. The weather was not really warm enough for swimming, so all that was left to do was either hike up the mountain (which I'm not really fit enough for, these days), or take a tuk-tuk trip around the tiny village (not interested). That just left us with sitting at a restaurant, eating and sipping drinks for 4 hours. Then they take you back out on the boat to see the rock island Strombolicchio, which is impressive. Then it's a waiting game, where the boat circles around the volcano to a point where, if you get lucky, you might see a puff of smoke, and, wonder of wonders, you might actually see a small flame shoot out for a few seconds - providing there are no clouds to obscure the view. Then it's another 3 tedious hours of boat travel in total darkness. If that exciting prospect appeals to you, go for it.

Bad experience. - Discreet ride, return cattle wagon style, 1 hour and 40 standing, you go out to see the skiing but you do not see them discouraged in high season.

Waste of time - Unfortunately, completely false expectations are being stoked. We didn't really see anything from the volcano, it wasn't even dark. The island was beautiful but this tour had nothing to do with Stromboli by Night.

NIGHTMARE IN THE OPEN SEA. - A NIGHTMARE experience. We left Tropea for Stromboli to experience the "sciara del fuoco". First negative note, when booking on the phone,.we had been told that on board we would find sandwiches, only to find that, at the bar, there were only chips and drinks, which is why we skipped lunch. Certainly the lesser of evils considering that, as soon as we left, we realized we were on board a sort of "fortune boat" that, for the duration of the trip, almost 2 hours, jolted like tagadà of the carnival, so much to cause widespread illnesses to many passengers including, unfortunately, my partner... (a boat of adequate size would certainly not have had the same effect). As if that wasn't enough, at some point, a large amount of water entered through a loophole (which they had forgotten to close) that wetted our shoes and clothes up to our thighs... Another negative point the crowd at boarding to return: to be suffocated. On the way back, so as not to miss anything, at some point of the crossing, a wave literally invaded a good part of the hull giving us the second unrequested bath. It was supposed to be a mini cruise, but it turned out to be a real nightmare that subverted every expectation and desire to spend a few hours relaxing. A MAI PIÙ!
