The reason is clear: visitors can witness fumaroles and steam jets at the summit of the active Fossa volcano and beneath the sea.
Vulcano fosters a unique, almost primal connection between the island and its visitors. It is an ideal destination for trekking enthusiasts, who can hike to the crater’s summit to enjoy an unparalleled view (weather permitting!).
Return to the Port of Tropea at approximately 7:15 PM.
