Excellent Agency - A positive experience with Tripodi Navigazione; from the perfectly planned tour (Lipari, Panarea, Stromboli by night), to the courtesy and professionalism of the entourage. In addition to the beauty of the places, it is an adventure that enriches you to know thanks to the great cultural and historical baggage of Mrs. Angela who accompanies you throughout the day telling you every glimpse rich in history. The sympathy and smile of the director at the helm Rocco is engaging and not least Vincenzo, another member of staff, was the icing on the cake, pampering us in many ways. Careful and professional, always checking that everything on board was in order and alert to the needs of each passenger. In the memories will remain a beautiful day and above all the luck to have met good and helpful people. What really matters. Recommended!

Absolutely to do!!! - Absolutely to do at least once in a lifetime! Exciting views are seen and the islands are unique and wonderful, the Tripodi staff is impeccable and Commander Angela explains everything with great passion and entertains visitors with very interesting news and facts. The ship manager very nice and helpful, Everything perfect! 💯

Beautiful experience I recommend it! - Beautiful excursions in the islands right stops to visit everything well! Staff helpful, friendly and very professional! We were with a little girl on board and the staff always helped us get on and off with the stroller! You can safely cruise with children .. very interesting the guide on board who explained to us both in Italian and English what we would go to see! Nothing negative

It was supposed to be a nice tour and instead we risked our lives - Looking at some advice on Tiktok we got to know the tour of Lipari - Stromboli - Panarea By night by Tripodi Escursioni (of Wednesday, June 18, 2025). From 10 to 22.30, with stops of about 2 hours to virtually all the islands, convinced us and we left Tropea with enthusiasm, certainly a good experience for tourists, a shame that then turned into a journey of "terror". In the morning we left with the sun, 2 hours of pleasant travel, thanks also to the exhaustive and competent explanations of the guide (the sea was already slightly rough but feasible). We stopped in Lipari 2 hours (although very hot and humid) and suddenly strong wind, black clouds and very rough seas rise. The ship struggled to dock at the port where we were initially disembarked, so we had to move to another port 15 minutes away on foot and left anyway (despite the bad weather). It was a nightmare, waves at least a meter high or more, people panicking, vomiting and never a word to “reassure” us from the crew. After almost 4 hours of torture, we arrived in Tropea at 7 pm (we should have returned at 10.30 pm) and not a word (a thank you/goodbye/sorry). I understand that now the weather and sea currents are difficult to predict, but an experienced eye should have had the good sense to keep us waiting in Lipari, until the weather allowed an acceptable navigation, since the sky, the waves and the wind foretold storm. I advise the crew to improve communication with passengers in these emergencies. P.s. The high wave videos I couldn't make and I can't upload videos here.

A real joke! - A real joke! The tour was called Lipari Panarea Stromboli by Night but of what we were promised we saw practically nothing. In Lipari they left us very little time, just a touch and go without the opportunity to really visit the island. We didn't even dock in Panarea, so it was cancelled altogether. And Stromboli? The main attraction of the tour, the Sciarra di Fuoco, we didn’t even see it! The commander decided not to complete the lap due to “high wind”, but by morning it was clear that the conditions were not right to go out. Despite this, they made us leave anyway, knowing full well that we could not live the experience we had paid for. In the end the tour was a total failure: no Panarea, no Sciarra di Fuoco, ridiculous weather in Lipari. No alternative, no refund, no professionalism. A shameful management and an absolute lack of respect for those who spent money and time. I strongly advise against it: a tour like this does not even deserve a star.

Really bad!!! - The worst "paying" experience of my life!!!! So I carry from the beginning, I leave with my 2 children, the grandmother is a friend also with a child (disabled) who had to pay the entire ticket because at the ticket office they claimed that being a private tour there are eeenxioni for disabled people except the 5 € of the landing fee! Let's start right! We leave for Lipari, the sea already appears rough and the ship begins to take hits, within an hour people begin to feel sick, stopped one of the crew telling him precisely why they had left if they knew that the sea was like this, he replies annoyed that for them this is not rough sea, ok shame that people suspected to give stomach, including me and my children! Arrived in Lipari, a very nice island for goodness sake, but no guide and time on land to manage independently, returned by boat towards Panarea, the sea situation worsens decidedly, this time also for the crew who communicate their "sorry" from the intercom saying they had not anticipated such a sea! Sorry????? You sail and you have not expected such a sea???? Moral, we relied on them to spend a relaxing day, we returned exhausted, with a broken stomach and constant nausea! Thank you Tripodi for preferring to earn money rather than cancel and move the tour to a calm beach day!

Not that great - First of all it states the guide speaks English. 90% of the trip was in Italian & the 10% of the English version was not understandable. Ms. Guide had a group of Italians that she was very attentive to answering many questions and chatting. When I asked a question she didn’t even acknowledge me and took her microphone & explained she would get to the English version in 10 minutes. She stated many times she would explain the things to do on the different stops but never actually told us anything. 30 minutes later someone else asked and again she said in 10 minutes she would get to the English version. Then we get dropped off & used our phones to find a couple things but you have to really look or u r stuck w the shops & little food options, Kinda boring. The cigarette smoke on the boat was obnoxious to make it worse the butts were being tossed into the sea. Then after the long day on the way back, Ms. Guide hits us up for boat lottery tickets, knowing we don’t speak Italian, but low & behold she finds it her heart to explain what it is & collects $2 for 2 tickets. When she calls the #’s she’s back with her favorite group of Italians on the lower level. Everything is spoken in Italian & no one could hear the #’s on our level of the boa. I thought I heard my # called so I made my way down the stairs and she was by then calling another #. Long day we made the best of it but I don’t recommend this ride if u don’t speak Italian or have plans on the islands. There isn’t enough time to hike. We found some good seafood food on Stromboli about a 20 min walk from the port that made our long day a bit better. If u r just going for there’s by boat it is the cheapest.

Worst experience ever - I am giving one star but if I could I would give 0. Being in Tropea, the tour to the Aeolian Islands is often offered and it sounds good in theory, but this was by far our worst vacation experience, some reasons: 1) the boat is old fashion, uncomfortable (especially if you have a 12h tour) and it does not have any real inner part, meaning everything is open either by windows or on the open, so that often people struggle with the heat and humidity. 2) when they say a guide is included, they don't mean the usual nice guide that goes with you on the islands and tells you interesting stuff. They mean that ONLY while in the boat and for a lot of hours, a woman is speaking incredibly loud and telling a lot of useless stuff (just in italian for the 99% of the time). Everybody we talked to in the boat were having headaches from this woman. People wanted to read or sleep during the longest trips and it was impossible because of her, she was essentially doing a monologue and nobody was listening. 3) the heat is terrible in the islands, and the humidity worse, and you won't find a single bar with air conditioning in most islands... They left us in Panarea for over 2h although there is literally nothing to do, we were just sitting somewhere at some point, suffering the heat and waiting for them to come back. In Lipari which has more things to see, they only gave us 1h and we had to have lunch in that hour so...we saw nothing. In Stromboli also little to see and the vulcano was not worth seeing if it means spending 12h of suffering. 4) everyone was pretty much destroyed by the time we drove back and the personnel was smoking and the smoke was going all around the deck, so one more thing you don't need when you are so tired. 5) the experience I can only compare to ryanair, as also they try to sell you something else during a good part of the trip. Clearly not a comfortable experience. Seriously you should better spend the day at Scilla, Messina or some nice beaches around Palmi.
