As the tour navigates through the city, it will pass by significant landmarks such as the modern port area and Solsiden, which translates to “the sunny side” in Norwegian. Visitors will also see the historic, colorful wharf houses, the renowned Hotel Britannia, and the Royal Residence Stiftsgården. The journey then continues to the outskirts of Trondheim. A photo opportunity awaits at Sverresli viewpoint, offering a panoramic view of the city. On the return to the city center, the tour will pass St. Olav’s Hospital, Norway’s largest medical center. Nearby, the tour will also pass the Student Association building and the main building of NTNU, Norway’s largest university. The next destination is Kristiansten Fortress, constructed in 1681 to protect the city. The final stop is Nidaros Cathedral, which dates back to the 11th century. Before heading back to the port, the tour will include views of the Old Town Bridge and the historic warehouses.

- This tour is based on the arrival and departure times of cruise ships. Modified departure times of the tour may change and will be communicated. Please check your emails before the activity starts.

- The itinerary of the tour depends on weather and road conditions. In the case of a weather-related road restriction, an alternative tour will be organised.
- Please bring a child safety seat with you if you need one. It is recommended in Norway.
- The tour starts at Pirbadet parking lot. A few meters after leaving security area you need to turn left through an in between corridor, then you will find the parking lot directly in front of the main entrance of the swimming center “Pirbadet” Guests coming from City Center or Hurtigruten/Havila please follow the signs leading to Pirbadet. The bus will be parked there, it will have “Trondheim City Tours” logo in the windshield.
