Discovering Trondheim: A City of Contrasts

Trondheim, Norway’s third-largest city, is a place where history and modernity coexist in harmony. As a digital nomad, I often find myself drawn to cities that offer a blend of the old and the new, and Trondheim did not disappoint. The Half-Day Highlights tour was the perfect way to explore this vibrant city, offering a mix of coach and walking experiences that allowed me to see Trondheim from different perspectives.

The tour concluded at Trondheim Torg, the heart of the city, where a statue of the city’s founder, Olav Tryggvason, stands proudly. The square was bustling with activity, and I took the opportunity to explore the local shops and restaurants. The Britannia Hotel, with its touch of “Wall Street” and “5th Avenue,” was a fitting end to the tour, offering a glimpse of Trondheim’s cosmopolitan side.
