Phenomal - Incredible! Thanks to our enthusiastic and extremely personable guide Linda and excellent, safe driver Gregor, we had the experience of a lifetime. The probability of our seeing lights was very low with the weather and forecast. But with their expertise, they not only found the perfect spot but timed it perfectly. We had an incredible aurora display. And Linda very patient took several photos of everyone. We seriously could not have been happier and are so glad we went with this tour company and these guides, especially given the slim chances that this would be possible. Northern Lights was the main reason for our entire trip, and to check it off our bucket list was a dream come true! Thank you for hosting the perfect experience!! I’d give 10 stars if we could!

Fabulous Northern Lights viewing in Finland! - Blue Puffin were excellent, especially Linda and Gregor who looked after us really well. Conditions were not great in Tromso. Blue Puffin were flexible and allowed us to shift our booking to the following day when the forecast looked better. Even then, Tromso was very cloudy and the decision was taken to head towards Finland where there was a better chance of a good viewing. It did not disappoint. A long evening and a very late night, but worth it. Linda was great fun but also dedicated to finding us the best spot and ensuring good photos of everyone with the lights. There was no scrimping on time, we didn’t get back until after 2am. Loved the camp fire experience sat on little stools in the snow, snug in our thermal suits, eating the scrummy home made soup and biscuits, with warm drink too.

I had to postpone the tour by one day because I did not receive my luggage. It wasn't a problem. - The tour was Super.Linda and Adam, really did the best. I've taken more pictures than ever before. Thank you.

Great Northern Lights experience - highly recommended - We did this tour with Victor and Adam during our "aurora holiday". It was great - from pick up to return to the hotel. During the trip Victor provided us with everything we needed to know about the Northern Lights with a lot of wit and then successfully "hunted" them together with Adam. It was just magical !! There was a campfire with soup, tea and cookies. All photos of Victor were provided to us free of charge. We have another 2. Tour made with another organizer - so we know the difference and therefore recommend you to do the hunt for Northern Lights absolutely with the agency Blue Puffin

Northern Lights Hunting in a small group super supervised - We had the pleasure with Linda and the driver Adam. Linda was great - nice, funny, helpful ... Adam was also very helpful and a confident driver. In addition to a perfect position Linda chose for us, the care was just great. Photography was helped, the homemade soup was 😋, not to mention the homemade cookies, the good mood was just infectious. We can highly recommend the tour.

Super unique dreamlike experience! - It was a very positive surprise throughout. Despite completely cloudy skies, the guides have managed to find gaps and make this spectacle an unforgettable experience.

In Germany, we say “besser geht’s nicht“ (it doesn’t get better than this), thank you Blue Puffin! - We had actually booked a Northern Lights tour with another operator who mentioned “guaranteed viewing,” so I thought they wouldn’t let us down. In fact, they let us down the day before we started the tour. Of course, it was quite frustrating because the KP index was high that day, and most operators had already been booked out. So, I immediately contacted Monika, the owner of Blue Puffin. Luckily, we got two seats, and it was Valentine’s Day! The tour was fully booked, and while the comfort of the bus was okay for smaller people, it wasn’t ideal for taller ones. Our guides were Viktor and Adam. Viktor is German but speaks both German and English fluently. He explained everything on the bus, and after less than an hour of driving out of the city, the bus stopped. He got off to check the location, then returned and told us we should stay there. Everyone got excited, and in less than 5 minutes, we saw the aurora in the sky. Viktor had his professional camera take pictures of each of us individually. We stayed there for a couple of hours, enjoying homemade goulash soup and biscuits by the fire. It was -15°C that night, and their jackets truly saved our lives. They even provided tripods — wonderful service! After less than 5 hours, I had the feeling of being “full from the lights,” haha. We were so happy and lucky to have Viktor and Adam as our guides. We had the best Valentine’s gift ever! I highly recommend Blue Puffin. In Germany, we don’t say “thumbs up,” we say “Daumen hoch!” 👍🏻

Best tour in Tromsø - We depend on the weather conditions, but we had such an amazing experience and were able to see so many auroras forming. So many photos and memories - and such a nice bunch of people we were with. Linda is a great guide and super charismatic. Loved every minute and can't recommend enough.

It was perfect - It was a great experience !The guide Victor and the driver Gregor have given everything to present us the Northern Lights ! TOP ! Everything was well organized and the food around the campfire was just right ! The dancing lights were indescribably beautiful :-) Thank you for that !!!

Anytime again! - I had the pleasure twice, once with Linda and once with Victor. Both are incredibly personable, competent and well-travelled, which gives them a lot of interesting stories to tell. They do everything in their power to give their guests an unforgettable experience. You notice their passion for their work, which creates a great group atmosphere. I learned a lot of interesting things about the Northern Lights and also listened to some Sami legends. Professional portraits under the Northern Lights are included, which I think is very fair. The thermal suits are fantastic, but still attract decent clothes, especially shoes. The homemade soup tastes very good and also the hot juice did a good job at minus 10 degrees. Why I recommend this aurora tour as well are the group sizes. We met other groups in huge coaches and were very happy not to be part of this mass event. Our guides had enough time to chat with everyone extensively and were always approachable and helpful for us. Finally, I would like to say a lot of praise to the two drivers Gregor and Adam, who drove us calmly and absolutely safely through the Arctic ice. Hats off! We could even spot some reindeer and moose with calf, which was a nice bonus. Many thanks to the whole team for this wonderful experience. I will come back at least once to see the beauty of Tromsoe in the summer and I will book with you again.
