Best tour in europe - This was one of the best tours we’ve ever been on. Definitely the best in Europe. The tour guide jj was so awesome in explaining to us the northern lights and how they work and really tried everything to get us to see them! We went all the way into Finland and set up on a really cool frozen lake. We got photos, food, marshmallows, tea or hot chocolate and it was just a great time! I get a lot of anxiety in the car driving through the snow and I felt super safe. 10/10 experience.

Best aurora experience! - At first, we thought we wouldn’t see the northern lights because it was snowing heavily when leaving Tromso. But Antonio and Timo delivered! We drove several hours into Finland and found clear skies in a secluded spot. The aurora was so strong and incredible! The dinner was freeze dried and then rehydrated soup, so don’t expect much. But the marshmallows on the fire was super fun. I recommend wearing the thermal suit, warm boots, and getting hand and toe warmers.

Just brilliant! - What an amazing night! Our guide, Lukas is very charismatic, entertaining and shared useful information about the aurora. He and our driver David, were zealous in their efforts to locate the Northern Lights,.The chase was exhilarating, and we were rewarded with the most spectacular display of swirling green, pink and purples. Just magical.

Great experience - Great experience. We were lucky to have a guide with a great working knowledge of the northern lights and the best place to spot them. You have to appreciate the hard work they put into finding them and invaluable knowledge of where to go. Advice: wear good boots and thermal socks in height of winter. Your feet may freeze.

Fantastic night after a bumpy ride - We saw the lights thanks to our great guide and driver who took us all the way to Finland to see them. Really appreciate the effort. The drive was painful though, the driver drove really fast over bumpy roads which made my girlfriend really scared and carsick. The radio was also just loud enough to hear but too quiet to listen along too which made us kind of uncomfortable. Also the presentation in the car could for sure have been more scripted. Our guide knew loads, but the information transfer was sporadic and it didn't lead to a relaxing vibe in the car. The soup was nice though and the fire was a good touch. The photos are guide took are just superb. Really he is a fantastic photographer, and an all around cool guy.

Conflicted - I’ll start by saying everyone was extremely friendly. Both the guide and driver were lovely and very helpful. However ultimately this rating comes down to value for money for us. The guide introduced himself, then spent the majority of the trip speaking with 2 guests in the front seat, answering their questions, showing things on his phone, etc, so that those at the back couldn’t hear or see. It would have been nice if we were able to get that information as well. Unfortunately we didn’t leave the tour better educated than when we started. We travelled for about 2 hours and when we got to our spot, the lights showed, so we spent about 45 minutes or so photographing them and chatting. Once they disappeared, we sat around a fire chatting and were offered hot chocolate. After that, packet soup was offered, but it was pretty terrible to be honest. I would have thought a thermal filled with fresh soup would have been offered, rather than a packet mix. Especially at this price point. After about 4 hours, the lights didn’t return, so we packed up and left. I am glad we saw the lights briefly and they were beautiful. When it comes to value for money, I don’t see where the AUD$360 value per person was? We would have been better off booking a larger group or bus for around AUD$100-150 and forgo the hot chocolate and soup. At the end of the day, you’re there to see the lights, and they’ll either show or not, regardless of how you travel to see them. This trip wasn’t worth the extra money for us, so for that reason we left disappointed.
