Upon reaching Aurora Wonderland Basecamp, participants will be equipped with snowmobiling gear, including a suit, boots, and helmet. An English-speaking guide will offer safety instructions and a brief practice session before the journey commences.
The tour follows a safari-style format, with participants driving in a line along approved trails, ensuring safety by staying on designated paths. The terrain is diverse and mountainous, providing both stunning views and exciting driving challenges. The tour includes stops for photos and time to appreciate the landscapes of mountains, forests, and fjords.
The snowmobile ride lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, traversing a variety of Arctic terrains. Each snowmobile is shared by two guests, with the opportunity to switch drivers during the tour.
After the ride, guests return to basecamp to warm up with freshly prepared fish soup.

The adventure kicks off at Aurora Wonderland Basecamp, where participants will be provided with a suit, boots, and helmet, followed by comprehensive safety and driving instructions from our English-speaking guide. After a brief practice session, the group will embark on a safari-style ride, traveling in a line along designated trails through the breathtaking mountain landscape.
The path offers a thrilling and picturesque experience, guiding you through diverse terrain with views of snow-draped peaks, serene forests, and sparkling fjords. Safety remains our utmost priority, ensuring both the thrill of snowmobiling and the chance to fully enjoy the Arctic wilderness.
The ride spans approximately 60–90 minutes, delivering an ideal mix of excitement and awe-inspiring sightseeing.

- To operate a snowmobile, you must have a valid car driver’s license and be at least 16 years old.
- It’s required to show car driver’s license to guide, so remember to bring it!
- Not recommended for People with serious health problems or pre-existing medical conditions
- We serve fish soup, but we can accommodate the following options: vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and lactose-free. However, please note that these options cannot be combined (e.g., gluten-free and vegan together). Please don’t forget to add this to your booking notes — we need to know in advance.

- Snowmobiles are driven in pairs with one driver and one passenger per snowmobile (even if you book as one person). You will have plenty of opportunities to switch places during the adventure
- Please dress warmly. A woolen base layer and a pair of woolen socks are recommended (Additionally, we strongly recommend bringing a balaclava.)
- All participants must follow the rules discussed in the safety briefing. Participants that endanger themselves or others in any way, will be excluded from the tour without the possibility of a refund.
- The pickup time from Tromsø and the drop-off time in Tromsø can be subject to change, therefore please plan for some extra time between activities and/or travel plans.
- We may cancel this trip at any time due to weather, safety concerns, or if the minimum number of participants isn’t met
