• The Lyngen Alps - Embark on an exhilarating guided snowmobile tour through the breathtaking Lyngen Alps, where Arctic wilderness meets natural splendor and thrilling adventure.

Upon reaching Aurora Wonderland Basecamp, participants will be equipped with snowmobiling gear, including a suit, boots, and helmet. An English-speaking guide will offer safety instructions and a brief practice session before the journey commences.

The tour follows a safari-style format, with participants driving in a line along approved trails, ensuring safety by staying on designated paths. The terrain is diverse and mountainous, providing both stunning views and exciting driving challenges. The tour includes stops for photos and time to appreciate the landscapes of mountains, forests, and fjords.

The snowmobile ride lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, traversing a variety of Arctic terrains. Each snowmobile is shared by two guests, with the opportunity to switch drivers during the tour.

After the ride, guests return to basecamp to warm up with freshly prepared fish soup.

Tour 1
• Meeting Time: 08:30 a.m. (Departure at 08:45 a.m.)
• Meeting Place: Outside the main entrance of Scandic Ishavshotel (Fredrik Langes gate 2, 9008 Tromsø)
• Look for: A driver with an Aurora Wonderland sign
• Return to Tromsø: Approximately 16:10

Tour 2
• Meeting Time: 11:30 a.m. (Departure at 11:45 a.m.)
• Meeting Place: Prostneset Bus, Boat & Hurtigruten Terminal (Samuel Arnesens gate 5, 9008 Tromsø)
• Go inside the bus terminal (1st floor), proceed to the bus platform, and look for a red bus marked “Arctic Route.” Guides will be available to assist you. The bus is reserved under your booking name.
• The bus will transport you to Breivikeidet, where you will board the ferry.
• Our team will be waiting on the other side to take you directly to the base camp.
• Return to Tromsø: Approximately 18:45

• To operate a snowmobile, you must have a valid car driver’s license and be at least 16 years old.
• It’s required to show car driver’s license to guide, so remember to bring it!
• Not recommended for People with serious health problems or pre-existing medical conditions
• Not suitable for Children under 7 years
• Not recommended for People with mobility impairments
• Not suitable for People over 309 lbs (140 kg)
• Not recommended for People with low level of fitness
• Not recommended for Visually impaired people
• Not recommended for seniors over 80
• Snowmobiles are driven in pairs with one driver and one passenger per snowmobile (even if you book as one person). You will have plenty of opportunities to switch places during the adventure
• Please dress warmly. A woolen base layer and a pair of woolen socks are recommended (Additionally, we strongly recommend bringing a balaclava.)
• All participants must follow the rules discussed in the safety briefing. Participants that endanger themselves or others in any way, will be excluded from the tour without the possibility of a refund.
• The pickup time from Tromsø and the drop-off time in Tromsø can be subject to change, therefore please plan for some extra time between activities and/or travel plans.
• We may cancel this trip at any time due to weather, safety concerns, or if the minimum number of participants isn’t met
• Travel time is included in the total duration of the tour.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
