• Kilpisjarvi - On occassion when it is too cloudy to have gaps in Norway we might cross the border to Finland. This will only be done when there are substantially higher chances of seeing gaps in the clouds in Finland then in Norway.

Join us for an intimate Aurora hunt, designed to provide an ethical experience in pursuit of the Aurora Borealis. Escape the light pollution of Tromsø and venture into the Arctic wilderness. Our experienced guides utilize forecasts and local insights to select the optimal location for viewing the Northern Lights. Once the perfect spot is found, participants will don warm thermal suits and boots, gather around a cozy campfire, and savor a homemade meal. Throughout the tour, guides will capture photos of participants, which will be available for free in web-sized resolution after the tour.

While exploring the wilderness, data will be collected for a citizen science project, contributing to the protection of Arctic nature through responsible tourism.

Unwind by the fire with a cup of hot chocolate before returning to your hotel on Tromsø island. Although sightings of this natural wonder cannot be guaranteed, our dedicated Aurora Hunters strive to maximize viewing opportunities every night of the season.
