Very good day - Our guide accompanied us very well, gave us a lot of information and had a very pleasant and reassuring ride. Even if the wildlife was not present, the scenery was beautiful. The clothes and shoes were effective. We had chosen a departure at 10am and in fact were able to enjoy the hours of good light during this period.

The Fjords were so beautiful! - My daughter chose this excursion because she was excited to see the Fjords and it did not disappoint. We loved our tour guide Simon. Loved hearing about the Vikings and the Sami people. The scenery was incredible. We also loved that Simon sent us pics of our adventure.

Beautiful Arctic fjord drive - My daughter and I joined the Arctic fjord drive with Northern Horizon on 31 December, guided by Bert and Dom, and had a wonderful experience. After days of stormy weather, we were lucky to have calm, clear skies and temperatures around -10°C, allowing the landscapes to truly shine. The mountains, fjords, lakes, and hills were stunning, lit by the soft winter light of the hidden sun. We also spotted wildlife including reindeer and moose. Dom is a very capable driver, and Bert is informative and passionate about the local flora and fauna. A fantastic and highly recommended Arctic experience.

Tromso must do - This arctic tour was one of our tromso highlights! We did this on the first day and it was a really great way to see in and around tromso. Bert knew all the best spots to see wildlife, we saw a reindeer and a moose! His photography was great and he was really knowledgeable, would definitely recommend! Thanks again Bert!

Fjords, Wildlife, and a true Nordic Experience - We had a truly wonderful fjord tour with Simon. He took us through Kvaloya, sharing stunning views of dramatic fjords, beautiful frozen lakes and waterfalls along the way. We were lucky enough to spot reindeers and even otters in the wild, which made the experience feel extra special. To end the day, we stopped at a cosy beach for hot chocolate and pastries, a perfect, peaceful moment. On the drive back, Simon played Sami and Viking music, helping us feel and understand the contrast between the cultures. His passion, deep knowledge of Nordic life, and genuine love for what he does made this an unforgettable experience.

Avoid snow storms - It started a bit shady because the tour guide and van was not at the meeting point at the specified time. We tried calling the number provided without response. They did eventually show up so that’s good. Our tour guide was Simon and he is quite knowledgeable of the area. Plus, his pictures look great. Unfortunately, this is a bit of a hit or miss with the weather. We can at the end of the snow storm and it was difficult to see the fjords and the nature due to the snow.

Fjords tour - Saw some wildlife but the weather was so bad it was hardly worth going as no views at all and spent most of the time sat in dark minibus. Bert the guide was great and full of enthusiasm which helped but if weather is poor it’s not worth the money.
