Great trip - thanks Ivan! - Great boat trip, worth every penny. Efficient pick up and tour of the islands was beautiful. Our captain Ivan was funny and helpful and explained the history of the islands and the geography. Plenty of time to explore the islands and go swimming in the blue lagoon. Would recommend.

4 hour island boat tour review: Our guide Peter was the best - Our guide, Peter, was excellent. We paid extra for a private tour and it was well worth it. The boat we had could hold up to 9 people. 6 in the front of the boat and 3 I the back or possibly 4 in the back and 5 up front. The canopy for shade (which we needed) was only covering the back seating area, so if you do not have a hat or sunscreen and cannot sit under the shade of the canopy you may get very warm. We were on the boat May 3rd with full sun and air temp 78 degrees and it was very warm in the full sun so the shade was good for us.
Now about the Blue Lagoon. My assessment is this: something made up for the tourist trade. The locals do not call the place the Blue Lagoon. This is the tourism name. Yes it is nice with clear water and 7ft to 12 ft deep areas with an interesting bottom of sand and rock but it is just like every other area of shallower water with sand and rocky bottom all over the many surrounding island areas. It isn't exactly a cove. We arrived early, about 10:30 am and were one of 6 boats at that time with perhaps a dozen people swimming in various locations. Our guide described this Blue Lagoon during the busy summer months as having hundreds of boats and so many people in the water that it is difficult for the boats to navigate. That sounds awful.
In summary, the Blue Lagoon was far from a highlight of the boat ride, but it was interesting to go there and beautiful to see if there are few boats or people. Fill the area with boats and people and I suggest you will not be pleased to have stopped there if you think what you will experience is the photos used on the websites to show you this place (featuring few boats or people).
Our next stop was a small fishing village. The big attraction here is a 5 star luxury hotel built in the 1990s. We did not feel compelled to walk around and explore this town so we can't say what we missed. On May 3 there were few restaurants open (I counted three total along the water area) so the larger café at the boat docking area was good for a short rest and some coffee and Coke. An interesting side note is that had our captain dropped anchor close to a small island near the entrance to the port of the fishing village, I believe you would be experiencing an equal or better (in my opinion) version of the Blie Lagoon because thr water color, temp and bottom looked identical to the tourist Blue Lagoon!
Our third and final stop was a beach island and this was, to our pleasant surprise, our favorite. Although we did not swim, we went up to the large restaurant overlooking the beach and enjoyed a nice lunch. Very serene and interesting view of the sea and beach through the trees.
Well done, Peter! If you take the three island 4 hour tour I highly recommend hiring Peter!

Fun day in the sun - Being out on the water in a comfortable boat. We were given a nice amount of time at each stop to have a look around.

Amazing island hopping boat tour - Lovely speedboat tour. It started right on time with a small group. Our guide Peter was very nice, he explained everything very well and was a great skipper. He even took the time to recommend us some nice beaches. The islands were all beautiful and we had enough time to explore. Definitely would recommend! :)

Great trip!!! - We (5 group of friends) were absolutely thrilled! Marco, our skipper, has made the boat tour an absolutely fun and refreshing experience! We honestly expected a little more from the spot of the blue lagoon, but the stopover at the port and the sundowner in the bay were all the more beautiful!

Speedboat trip to the blue lagoon 🩵 - It's the third time I've come to trogir and it's the third time I've done the same tour with Ventos Nautic.
The ride is very nice and it is fun to do it with the speedboat.
The blue lagoon is wonderful, beautiful colors!

There's probably better - The trip consists of 3 stages. The blue lagoon, the village of Maslinica, and a beach on the island of Ciovo - I imagine the latter destination can vary according to the season; as far as we were concerned, it was Duga beach. Only the latter is worth the trip, but it is also accessible by car from Trogir.
As for the blue lagoon, which is truly magnificent, the captain would have to anchor his boat in the middle of the lagoon to take full advantage of it. But he refuses ("this is reserved for private excursions"). It must therefore be approached by its banks. These shores are made of stones that do not allow pleasant access to water, covered with natural wood chips, and some detritus. In the water along the shores of the lagoon, there is also some sea foam that retains plant residue, which does not encourage swimming. Other towers in which the master agrees to moor his boat in the middle of the lagoon, whose crystal clear waters are without foam, will be preferred.
As for Maslinica, we are still trying to understand its value (none in our opinion, but maybe it was due to the season, early May?)
