• Pasabag - Also referred to as Monks Valley, Pasabag is where Christian hermits established hermit cells and churches within the three-headed pinnacles, symbolizing the Holy Trinity.
• Goreme Open-Air Museum - This site houses the world’s most important Byzantine cave churches, where monks and nuns led monastic lives from the 3rd century. Visitors can admire the best-preserved Byzantine cave wall paintings and frescos, spanning from the Iconoclastic period to the end of Seljuk rule. Icons depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments, along with portraits of Church Fathers and saints, illustrate the Byzantine universe’s structure.
• Avanos - Known as the pottery center of Cappadocia, Avanos (Venessa) is situated along the Kizilirmak (Red River), named for its red clay deposits. Here, potters demonstrate their craft using kick wheels, a technique unchanged for generations.

The tour then moves to Avanos (Venessa), the pottery hub of Cappadocia, situated along the Kizilirmak (Red River), named for its red clay deposits.
