Great way to see Trieste - I only had one day in Trieste and the hop on/hop off bus was a great way to cover a lot of ground. The route had a lot of interesting stops, and the operator was conscientious about asking when I expected to re-board so I was sure to have a seat. The stops were well marked, and the map they give you has the times the bus will be at each stop. Very helpful. It was worth the price just to get to Miramare Castle which is quite far from town. It’s important to know that the stop is a good long walk away from the castle. It’s about 15 minutes away, so this isn’t a great option for anyone who can’t walk far. It is a pleasant walk right along the Bay of Trieste.

Best Value - The best value in town. This tour provides transportation and commentary to all the best sites. Allow 2 hours at the castle and cathedral and 4 hours at Maxamillian’s house.

Nice tour of Trieste - We did the tour of Trieste and had a great time, clean bus, nice explanations and driver very attentive to the guide. The guide who indicated the stops gave us many explanations and directions and was very kind. We booked through their website saving 10%. Recommended.

Worthwhile trip - Right on time. Good information ……………………………………. This review is really annoying though. Stop sending it. The trip was fine.

Ok bus tour but beware very long walk to Miramar Castle! - Tour was fine. Audio guide so not a live tour guide. Although 10 stops on route probably only 3 worth departing bus for. The best stop is Miramar Castle. Unfortunately the bus stops almost 2 miles from the castle so it is a VERY LONG walk to the entrance! The bus needs to find a CLOSER point to allow guests to disembark.also Tour Guide could inform guests of the extremely long walk! Also - on week days it is a lengthy time between pickups. Shorter times on weekends.

I wouldn't do it again. - If you have the FVG card and you want to rest your legs, go ahead... if you have to pay the ticket in full, don't It's worth it. You hardly see anything from a covered bus.

Good and Bad - Instructions to find the start point were confusing. We missed the 0900 bus because we were trying to find the stop per the address given. We did get on the 1000 bus but it was so crowded, and they only ran one per hour so it was not a hop on hop off experience. It did give us a good overview of the area and the guide was excellent!

A complete and total waste of time and money. Beware. - We got on the bus before noon. We were made to get off at stop number 6 and told to catch the next bus. The next bus was full. We were told to catch the 2:26 bus. At 3:15 they arrived so we paid them a lot of money to stand and wait in the heat for a bus that came very very late. Great fun was not had that day in Trieste. Do not waste your time or money sitting in traffic jams or waiting for some elusive stupid bus. Wish we hadn’t ruined our day. Not happy at all
