It’s one of Norway’s most visited waterfalls. Tourist information and public restrooms are located at the car park. A short walk over an old stone arch bridge leads to the waterfall. A cozy café behind the bridge offers a chance to relax and enjoy the sound of the stream. The stop here is just under 30 minutes, with a 10-minute drive to Norheimsund.
• Norheimsund - Experience the charming town of Norheimsund, beautifully situated on the Hardangerfjord. Enjoy the scenic views and delightful atmosphere. Norheimsund features several restaurants and a small shopping center with a bistro. The stop here lasts about 45 minutes, providing ample time for a quick lunch break. The driver will indicate the bus departure point.
• Kvanndal - After a 40-minute drive along the Hardangerfjord, the journey reaches the ferry in Kvandal. The ferry departs at 2 p.m., with a 20-minute crossing. • Jondal Municipality - The ferry from Jondal to Tørvikbygd departs precisely at 15:20. The crossing of the main arm of the Hardangerfjord includes bathrooms and a self-service café on the ferry. The upper car deck provides a great vantage point for photos. The landscape is breathtaking, and the crossing takes about 20 minutes.
• Tørvikbygd - At approximately 15:50, the ferry docks in Tørvikbygd. From here, the journey continues directly to Bergen.
• Bergen - The return to Bergen Tourist Information is expected around 18:00-18:30.
